For over two decades, supporting our dream.
Behind the scenes, it’s the Neopets Team!
To care for our Pets and achieve goals we plead.
Our calls, they have listened, they’ve taken the lead.

More events, big rewards, let’s have some fun.
Many games, even plots will need to be done!
They responded, “We got you, look at our roadmap!”
Fun times and goodies will fall on your lap.

But what about fashion? Our Pets must look cute.
If you like the old art, try the Nostalgic-look route.
But for a modern look, count on the design crew.
New outfits, backgrounds, or Dyeworks with Hue Brew.

Everything’s expensive, please combat inflation!
It’s a long hard battle but we’re in the right direction.
They told us, “This one is tricky, but we’re not afraid to try”.
Have recycle caps, weekly quests and daily prizes, no need to cry.

The Neopets Team is trying their hardest.
They’re a dedicated crew with fantastic artists.
So please bear with us as they fix any bugs,
The Neopets Team deserves all the hugs!

Lives a Yellow Kacheek
Whose Ever Stocked General Store
Has everything that you seek!

He stocks his shop with basic wares,
Such as Food, Books, and Toys,
And he makes sure that he always has
An endless inventory!

He keeps his food affordable
So your Pets can be well-fed
With Coffee, Soup, Cheese and Crackers,
And Neowaiian Bread!

He also has amusing toys
That cannot be ignored;
From Rubber Ducks to Bouncy Balls,
Your Pet will not be bored!

The Kacheek sells many Brushes
To meet your Grooming needs;
Whether your Pet’s hair is Long or Short,
He’ll keep them free of fleas!

The Books he sells may interest you
If your Pet likes to read;
From Pop-up Books to Moehog Tales,
Your Pet will be intrigued!

Visiting this old Kacheek
Is a daily stop for me,
For the General Store helps me complete
My Quest Log instantly!

Neopia, My Valentine

embrace our loves in multitude:  
Neopia, be mine! A soft prelude,  
a song of love this Valentines.  

All who explore your cosy places,  
who bring their diverse pleasantries  
and unique loves, identities --  
behold the joy upon their faces!  

O, those who venture, land to land,  
from Haunted Woods and Kiko Lake  
to islands Lutari, Roo, and Krawk--  
today, we venture hand in hand.  

O, those who game, your hands' precision  
in munching snow and bashing Kass,  
in chasing Neggs and bouncing Hasee--  
today, shared love is our shared vision.  

O, those who fight, Pets hale and strong,  
in Battledome with weapons bright  
to conquer valiantly in might--  
today, press forth in one grand song.  

Here, all belong! Yes, all are sought  
in friendship and camaraderie  
to find and display in harmony  
treasures sold and keepsakes bought.  

Be ours, Neopia! From space to plain,  
for all who daily tread your shores  
and help us fill the lonely hours,  
a place where love for all remains.

An Encounter With Dr. Sloth

His sweeping cape as dark as shadows,
Cloaks Dr. Sloth in the night.
You see just a quick glimpse of red,
Then he is out of sight.

Where has he gone, we wonder -
As we tremble with concern and fear.
Off to cause mayhem and chaos!
This much we know is clear.

He's most likely in his underground lab,
Tinkering with dangerous inventions.
Dr. Sloth is a mad evil genius,
So we stand guard and pay attention!

Some say he's misunderstood,
His brilliance merely misapplied.
But others more cautious know better -
His scheming plans cannot be denied!

In the end, the interaction goes like this:
With a mad cackle that echos loud.
Suddenly he's appeared in front of you,
In a dark coloured smoky cloud!

In his hand, he holds a glass bottle -
Offering a Transmogrification Potion.
What does he want in exchange?
Only your loyalty and devotion! 

Then with a flash he's gone,
Have you agreed to this treacherous deal?
It seems only time will tell,
If before Sloth, we're forced to kneel!

A Patchwork Plushie Vandagyre

Greens and Yellows,
Reds and Blues.
Just one colour?
How could I choose?

My Vandagyre can't have just one,
Because I know she'd wear them all.
But just when I think I can't decide,
There's one more colour I recall:

Plushie for my Vandagyre!
Not to play with, but to become!
A patchwork mix of all the best,
So that she won't be so glum.

With tufted ears, a patched-up form,
And mismatched feet to boot!
She'll be real warm, the best to hug,
Not to mention super cute!

With polka dots, and stripes, and lace,
Quilted feathers on her wings,
A seam of stitches down her face,
And colourful talons. She'll have everything!

My mind's made up, I know for sure:
A Plushie Vandagyre is best!
So now there's just one thing to do...

Fountain Faerie! Please give us a quest!

Quiggle Court Dynamics

Between you and me, I can honestly say
Not all at Court is quite as it seems
The young Quiggle Royal acts like a Page
And doesn't quite measure up to his Queen

He spends all his time away from the throne
Getting into scraps with his Quiguki friend
While the Royal Lady rules on her own
Holding Court by herself for hours on end

The two boys, along with a Cybunny lad
Run from their duties and shirk their chores
Feathers waving above their flat caps
When will they see what the future has stored

For the piper comes calling, sooner than not
And what will you have to show on that day
All your excuses will come to naught
And the bitterest price must be paid

Now is the time to learn the lesson well
To avoid the miseries that may lie in wait
Humility, responsibility, and kindness above all
Will secure for you a happy fate

Take a look in the mirror and reflect on yourself
Put your best foot forward, and find your truth
Strive for joy, for balance, for health
Make the most of the time in your youth

The Life Of An Eyrie

On Krawk Island there lives an Eyrie
She is very proud, with beautiful wings
Ever since her youth, she had one passion,
She likes to collect things!

Once she was Baby, 
Already smart, with big bright eyes
She grew up in Neopia Central
Always wondering what lies beyond its skies

Then she became Pirate, 
Called by a world still unknown
She packed some food for the trip
And she left all on her own

Her wings brought her far
And then she bought a small boat
Knowing she could get even further,
If she and her treasures could float

This treasure she found
In many places during her trips
Lost on small scattered islands,
Or protected by others on their ships

But this Eyrie was brave,
And loved her trinkets so much
She would fight for more of them
Not afraid of any battle and such

This is how she lived her life
Every day was filled with quests
Full of passion and adventure
Traveling North, South, East and West

Now, she is a beautiful Elderly Girl
Maybe, her days of adventure are done
But she still spends her days happy
Looking at her collection with great fun!

It's not hard to recognize him
He's a Pirate Chia who wears a pirate hat
Also an eye-patch and a wooden leg
And you'll get his visit when you least expect!

Join Dr. Sloth

The combat training he provides is second to none,
Even the Techo Master will be stunned!

Now do you think you have what it takes,
Joining Dr. Sloth won't be easy and have the most breaks,
But you will become strong and improve yourself like never before,
The choice is yours and you just have to walk through the door!

The Portly Pirate, Puffo

You might recall famous Grarrls
Skeiths are a common contender
But truly, that is not quite all!

Kacheeks are a force to behold
On the stage of munchies and grub
But don't let yourself just be told
See for yourself down at the Food Club

Sail for the shores of Krawk Isle
And wander towards the Warf Wharf
Find it there -- won't take you a while
The place where they eat, gorge, and scarf

Get greeted by one Blue Kacheek
The Food Club Bookie takes bets
He'll even hold winnings for a week
That's eight rounds -- don't dare forget!

But he's not the one that you seek
Though he knows his stuff about snacks
Neither Stuff nor Sproggie are Kacheeks
Go past Gooblah, look way in the back...

Puffo! The 'pet of the hour
Is the Yellow Kacheek of food fame
He's of massive size and great power
With red ribbons on his head, tail, and mane

He gulps and he gobbles with might
Every day, even without applaud
It really is a stunning sight
He battles against all the odds

He favours the foods that are sweet
Smoothies and Slushies do well
Candy, of course -- but NO meat!!
He can't even handle the smell

Still, always trying his best
To become the winning top taster
We'll celebrate with feast and with fest
For the one and only Puffo The Waister!

The Twelfth Annual Neopies

Glitz and glamour–
For prizes, we clamour.
It happens once a year–
The Neopies are here!

The months have passed,
Time has gone so fast.
We reminisce and look back,
As we munch on a snack.

Ellsworth is the host
That we love the most.
He commands the stage,
With the nominees on a page.

The lights fade and dim,
Our attention is on him.
He loudly clears his throat,
And now it’s time to vote.

We loved Day Nine to Ten,
A sweet comic for Advent.
The Service Petpet Doglefox,
Knocked off all our socks.

The Museum Grarrl is unique,
With his bony physique.
I have to say right now,
How lovely is Pastel Kau?

After we make our selection,

The Magical MSP Poogle Plushie,
Made my heart all mushy.
The Marble Draik Egg is a treat,
A surprise that’s really neat.

To a cheering crowd
Ellsworth’s voice booms loud:
“And the winner is…”

Once a Child

Only work is all I know.
Work, rest, eat and then repeat the flow.
I mustn't stop, I must move and go. 
During my slumber, a deep dream sinks below.   

Many eons ago, as a young one around, 
Exploring the Net, learning to surf.
But what I won't forget, is a little world I found.

So beautiful, chaotic, engaging and profound. 
I play to earn. I shop and purchase.
I create a companion and it is very gorgeous,

But before I do more, I awake and deplore that I was removed from my dream that made me want it more. 

I missed it everyday and recently I've come round. 

I have no regrets, I'm back now, my Neopets.

At the Attic

Cobwebs stretch from roof to floor
In this special kind of antique store,
A ghostly Aisha draws you in,
Each seven minutes we begin 
To refresh.

Oh, will the attic fill this time?
We’re all itching to spend a dime.
The restock windows passed, I reckon, 
Though I’ll reload for ten more seconds
Just in case.

What should you pick when the stock comes?
Choose quickly or be left with crumbs.
Stamps are often a good bet,
Or morphing potions for a pet
Makeover.

Most times a profit will be earned,
There are some pitfalls to be learned.
Battle items aren’t too good,
Don’t click on Light Acara Hood,
Or Gross Food.

So come and join me, if you dare
Inside this haunted lofty lair.
A place for those who buy and sell
It’s the Abandoned Attic, well…
Almost.

The View From Jhudora's Bluff

The morning sun peeks over jagged rocks to lift the mist
Revealing bright and beautiful, a valley rainbow-kissed.
A view that most would envy, yet Jhudora rues the day
Her humble home crashed down to face the absolute wrong way.

What twist of fate a faerie, dark as night and cruel of mind, 
Is made to gaze upon this wretched land so fair and kind.
The curtains are not dark enough to block out all the cheer
That radiates relentlessly each day of every year.

Why must the statues twinkle and the water gleam so bright?
Why must the city sparkle like a gemstone under light?
As if it were not clear enough that life has been unfair,
There's even now a Walein hanging randomly midair!

The only comfort she can take in all of Faerieland
Is the tiny speck of blue she spies - small Plushie contraband.
A Grundo toy discarded, sad, unwanted, cast aside,
Another forlorn creature who has nowhere left to hide.

Haphazard Adventures

One random day
          Bored and no plans at all,
      You head to Terror Mountain
      Hoping to see some snowfall 

                  Out of the blue,
     A snowball smacks you in the face
       You’re in the middle of a field 
  Snowballs flying at an alarming pace 

   A castle, a catapult, even a cannon! 
            You flee from the fight 
       Up the mountain you retreat
At once, a piano speeds pass your right! 

 You continue, scared and confused 
   A strange colorful Lenny appears 
He asks, “Want to become an apple?”
  Crazy for sure, you take off in tears

   Snow steadily falling you carry on 
          In the distance you see
   Bruces skating on a mountain top
The rink tipping to a dangerous degree 

        You hear shouts up ahead
               Looking for help,
But it’s a group of Neopets throwing Petpets 
   A Snowbeast munches as they yelp 

            Too cold, too tired
         The world turns black 
You awaken next to the Snow Faerie 
    Feeding you an unusual snack 

          Excited to head home
From this random misadventure free 
        The Snow Faerie smiles,
“Could you venture outside for me?”

A Love Letter to my Stamp Album

Dear Stamp Album,

When we began our journey together,
I didn’t know where it would lead.
I knew some of our shared goals,
Would be a far cry and plead.

Some stamps and collectables,
Are entirely too rare. 
We have to save up our Neopoints,
And spend them with care. 

I knew our collection,
Wouldn’t be the biggest or best. 
But I knew that eventually,
Our album would be one to behest.

After years on hiatus,
We’ve had to play catch-up.
But starting from anywhere,
Can still fill our cup. 

What is next for us?
Will it be Queen Fyora or Coltzan?
Or maybe something else,
Like Battle Slices or Ummagine?

Whatever it is,
I get to share it with you. 
My Neopets stamp album,
A love so true. 

Happy Valentine’s Day,
And happy month of love.
You are my dopamine escape,
A gift from above.
