Count Von Roo
By Kitokat_mh
Atop his morbid mountain peak,
Residing in his dark home,
Brooding, plotting, thinking deep,
Stalking where foul creatures roam.
For when the night is deep and dark,
He swoops down to begin the feast.
He haunts and taunts and growls and prowls,
A hideous monster, a fearsome beast.
But he has not always been this way,
Once some goodness dwelt within,
Until a fearful visit to the Woods,
And now his soul is wraught with sin.
A twisted thing he has become,
Seeking revenge and stirring hate.
A heart as black as the dead night sky,
A body in a dreadful state.
Yet he lives on through his ordeal,
As he endures a life which never ends,
Unable to love, and hated by all.
Scores of enemies, no friends.
Stop now to think of what he is,
And the pain that he subdues.
And for once, encourage sympathy,
For the feared Count Von Roo.

Darkness at the Kadoatery
By Anjie
A final flicker, lights now dim,
For midnight now draws nigh.
Somewhere distant in the dark,
So sounds a wailing cry.
Echoing, the noise so shrill,
It lingers and surrounds.
What nightmare Petpet makes that noise,
Those horrid, wailing sounds?
Quickly, light the lamp, my friend,
And check beneath the bed.
It's not some horrid beast you see,
Kadoaties, though instead.
Wide eyes shimmer in the glow,
The Kads seem simply fine.
Behaving like you won't believe,
As long as light does shine.
Awaiting nightfall with such fear,
So nervous, flicks each tail.
Moonlight though is not enough,
In shadows do they wail.
Even in Kadoatary,
It's ebon night they dread.
Sulking with that eerie call,
No matter what they're fed.
A Petpet most of us adore,
(Though cranky, and not quiet!)
Appreciate a Kad today,
But don't turn out the light!

First Day!!
By Peanut02395
As I approach the school building,
My stomach starts its churning,
And in my paw I hold a fruit,
For she who runs the learning.
I'm filled with gleeful nervousness,
It consumes my every thought,
My paws begin to tremble,
My muscles go all taut.
This morning I laid every hair,
So perfectly in place,
And my bright books are so polished,
That I can see my face.
Will I be smart and noticed?
Will I make friends so cool?
I'm very worried about this:
My first day of Neo School!
And on the playground here I find,
A variety of buddies,
And in the room with each name on,
A cabinet of cubbies!
The teacher smiles and takes my gift,
"Welcome," she smiles and greets,
"I hope you enjoy your Neo School,
In these upcoming weeks."
And I'm assured, as I sit down,
At a desk all bright and pleasant,
I know that I'll be bringing her,
Another apple present.
I'll learn so much and be so smart,
I will follow every rule,
I will be the very best in here,
This perfect Neo School!

Dice-A-Roo
By _totti2006_69
The dice is rolled a hundred times
But no-one seems to win
Slowly and slowly the tension climbs
But your chances of the jackpot are thin.
As another loser leaves the room
And again I wander in,
Another 'Game Over' surely looms,
But I'll take it on the chin.
In my desperate search to win some cash
I know that luck's the key,
I keep on losing and trying again
What do they do with all the 5NPs?
For once I finally get a chance
On the green dice level
But again I take a loser's stance
In my misery King Roo must revel.
After all my rolls I go away
And I'm passed by a Blumaroo,
He says he's going off to play
A game of Dice-A-Roo.
So in he goes and throws the dice
And gets a level up
And then he rolls the blue ones twice
And wins a golden cup.
He rolls in all the prizes
A player could ever want,
And as the tension rises
King Roo begins to taunt:
"You'll never win, I've fixed this game
The most you'll win's a clover."
He rolls the fifth die all the same
And ends up with game over.

Petpet Gossip
By Spotthechelsey
It was a warm sunny day
When Weewoo asked him to tea.
They could chat, she chirped,
And perhaps share a cookie.
So Anubis came over,
And he and Weewoo sat,
Where she shared all the gossip.
How Turtum thought shells look fat,
The Tasu's in a tussle, and
Apis snubbed food with a "humph!"
Oh, how the Firr ran away when
Moltenore asked him out to lunch.
Warf's caught himself a Mootix,
And Snorkel's Moach is quite the pest;
But the Symol said in Turdle races
That fast Squishy is the best.
Mortogs decline 'round Valentine's
For funny reasons, each year.
I must say kissing one is
Something I'd rather fear.
But Huggy has no qualms
About spreading tight-hugged cheer,
And Kadoaties will still mooch off
Draik eggs and other items queer.
Babaa has been having trouble now
With getting itself to bed.
It tries to fall asleep by counting
Jumping Hasee twins instead.
The Picklesaur has gone and put
Itself in quite the jam;
He got the Pinklet angry
By calling him a ham.
Whinny's been rather whiny,
And Crokabek's caught a cold;
His cough is heard as far as Brightvale
Is what the Karren told.
The Vullard said, to sum it up,
Ganuthor's run off again;
T'would seem he mistook a Turmac
For its Turmaculus cousin.
But Draconack did come right back
This time with Gallion close behind.
Seems he stole the dragon's cheese
Without a thought or care in mind.
The humid breeze blew by
And Weewoo chirped over tea,
Poor Anubis listened patiently
All for want of one cookie.
