The Pirate Puppyblew
By Monarchistknight
Arr, I'm a pirate Puppyblew,
The most notorious of them all!
I sail the Jolly Chomby
From every port to waterfall.
I've had adventures with evil birds,
And with my pirate Snorkle brother, too.
I've sailed a vast many miles
For a single Puppyblew.
I've conquered Barosope Island
And stolen all its loot.
I've braved Detap Waterfalls,
I've had some new recruits.
Yes, there's no danger too great,
Nothing I won't face once, see?
I've fearlessly battled the Lucky Dice brothers
Who fought from the Dark Mynci.
But, in reality, I'm just a pirate Puppyblew
Having fun in a bathtub's toy sailboat,
And my pirate Uni owner
Will let me play again tomorrow, I hope!

Doirn and the Bad Joke
By Bitsy_dj
For ninety days and nights
I've been sitting in this cell.
Waiting for my freedom
And my dignity, as well.
I thought I was a jester;
One of comedy and wit.
My jokes were always funny.
Every single one a hit!
King Skarl had been grumpy
Ever since that fateful day
When Lord Darigan attacked us
And took our orb away.
Word spread through all the land
That he needed a good laugh.
Whomever made him smile,
Would be rich on his behalf.
Many came before him
And did their best to cheer.
Hoping they would make his frown
Grow from ear to ear.
Some joked about the weather,
Or Petpets and their fleas.
A thousand jokes were told,
Yet all failed to please.
I remember standing there
Before the grumpy sire.
I had the perfect joke
That would make his woes expire.
I went into my act
And did my very best.
I'd show all of Meridell
That I knew how to jest!
But when I had finished,
I heard no happy sound.
Skarl ordered me in chains
And to stay locked up underground.
So now, I sit here sadly
In world of endless glum.
I have learned my lesson:
Never tease a sire's mum.

Faerie Bubbles
By Cynnick
High above Neopia,
Far from the busy crowds,
The faeries play a secret game
Among their lilac clouds.
They all blow magic bubbles,
Light as air and crystal clear,
And soon the skies are filled
With rows of fragile pastel spheres.
The bubbles are so delicate,
Just one will never pop.
Three alike or more must touch,
Or else they'll never drop.
And if too many bubbles
Fill the skies of Faerieland,
They'll push the Faerie Cloud
Down to the Desert's burning sand!
And that's where we Neopians
Can help the faeries play,
By joining strings of bubbles,
So they'll pop and go away.
The Faerie Queen has built
A special cannon, just for us,
So we can clear out bubbles
When they get too numerous.
It's not as easy
As it sounds, my friend,
So listen, please:
When more than three
Of each connect,
Their magic is released.
A group of fire orbs burns up
All non-water that they touch;
Air combos fill the rows up.
I don't like those very much.
Four or more of water
Seek and pop all other blues,
And yellow light sphere combos
Turn their neighbors random hues.
Earth bubbles are like fertilizer--
They make others grow,
And Jhudy's purple bubbles change.
To what, you never know.
But don't despair! You'll love
The ones with pretty rainbow stripes,
And pointy nova bubbles,
Which will pop the other types.
Once you've heard the bubbles sing,
You'll want to every day.
How often do you get to play
A game the faeries play?

Sloth's Perfect Planet
By Loverevolution
A dream it was,
Though frightening, no doubt
Was Sloth's perfect planet
No darkness about
Dandelions everywhere
And hay fever he does have
He sneezed over and over
'Till he heard a laugh
No, a giggle it was
And it was loud and clear
What was that thing?
Was it near?
It was a white little puffball
A field of them, in fact
Were they even real?
So Sloth zapped it to bits
And what happened next
Was hideous! Hideous!
It seemed he would never forget!
More just appeared
And "We wuv you!" they proclaimed
Sloth ran with a scream
Back to his ship
But alas, no more fuel
A load of "We wuv you"s
And he woke right up
Screaming like a madman
No, he'd never forget!

What Colour for a Slorg?
By Moonflaeme
What colour to pick,
for my sweet little Slorg?
She's ever so quick,
Just a chubby green blur!
There's the average, plain
colour of green...
but if my Slorg ran away,
she'd never be seen!
Then again, there's always blue,
A colour that's main,
But for my eccentric Slorg,
That's a little bit too plain,
Maybe my Slorg should be purple?
It's a colour bright and cheery,
Of purple Slorg's I've seen a couple,
But of purple my Slorg's leery...
What about a plushie Slorg?
They look just like stuffed green socks!
Of course, a sock
might make me bored...
Faerie Slorgs are pinkish, and blue,
With sky-blue, tiny tiny wings,
But a winged Slorg would be able to do
Things of which I can't even think...
Fiery Slorgs are covered in flames
Red and orange and yellow,
But my sweet Slorg is just too tame,
She doesn't shriek, bite, or bellow...
What about my Slorg as island?
A colour that's prized and pretty!
Island Slorgs are white and tan,
Wearing a flower, itty bitty...
Snowy Slorgs are crystal and white,
They're just plain cold.
They sure do make quite a sight!
But painted snow my Slorg might melt...
Chocolate brown might be an option,
It's such a soft and pretty shade...
My Slorg, brown? (with golden spots!)
It's not a colour I'd have made...
Mutant is a definite no,
Just think! My Slorg shriveled like a leaf!
With eyes perched on skinny stalks,
Green and yellow, like old beef...
A nice colour might be pink!
My Slorg could be a star...
On second thought, I rather think,
I'll leave her just the way Slorgs are...
Green, we have something, I know
Emerald green, bright and shiny...
She's already green, but so?
It's such a lovely perfect shade...
We've got it made!
