Sponderolas
By Autotune

I saw some Sponderolas
growing by the road;
I halted my steps forward
just to take a sniff.
They have the sweetest fragrance,
gentle yet divine;
their petals are burnished gold
from a faerie's kiss.

No one could ever fail to
smile at such a sight --
Sponderolas, purest white
blossoms in the wind;
perfume upon the air, these
Sponderolas fair.
I never could resist them --
(nor you never you)
these wild flowers to be tamed,
placed into a vase,
kept inside a house of glass
(tender loving care)

I plucked those Sponderolas,
tore them by the stems;
these flowers of purest white.
(blossoms in the wind)
No one could ever fail, to
smile at such a sight
(they reminded me of you --
hope you like them, too.)

Ode to Spring's Return
By Natural

For countless months has winter reigned,
Leaves withered on the bough.
The snow has smothered all the grass
And thwarted hungry Kau.

But now the raging winds have calmed
And snowdrifts turn to slush.
Lakes have splintered; ice cracked wide
To let the water rush.

Buds push through the thawing snow
And some survive the frost.
Gardener pets take up their rakes,
Replacing those they lost.

Taelia retreats to her mountain,
And skies of grey give way to blue.
The sun has chased the clouds away,
And Faerieland shines through.

Winter slipped away at last;
Birds emerged to sing.
And in her glade Illusen made
Her welcome to the spring.

Uni's Clothing
By Sadinei

With a flick of her mane,
She invites you inside.
This sassy blue Uni
Has nothing to hide.

Lining her store's shelves
Are all kinds of wares.
Think of scarves and hats,
Of triangles and squares.

She's the shopkeeper
Over at Uni's Clothing.
To her fine dresses and silks
Keen customers do cling.

Maybe it's for a shirt
Or trousers you seek?
Both of these can be found
At this Uni's boutique!

If you've got no Neocash
And only Neopoints to spare,
Don't you ever fret,
Uni's Clothing is always there!

If it's the perfect outfit
That you're searching for,
Just stop by her shop
And wander aimlessly no more!

Spring in Neopia
By Msfeli

As the Rude Daffodils begin to sprout,
Pebeanjay Flowers peek out
From their earthy beds.
And joyful Silly Daisies
Poke out their goofy heads.

All of spring is bud and bloom,
As the sun warms Neopia.
Young Neopets frolic out of their rooms
To play in the warming sun.

Grass grows, where bare ground was,
Light rain replaces snow.
Shimmering rainbows above the wet ground,
Sunlight peeking through new green leaves,
On the Money Tree.

A certain Grarrl begins to dance,
Cherries grow on their trees,
Pteris chirp vociferously,
Everything as it should be!

The icy grasp of winter drops,
Frost melts away,
Clouds bring rain, not snow or sleet,
Flowers smell perfectly sweet!

This is spring in Neopia,
Bright and sunshiny days!
Clear running water, babbling brooks,
A walk through the park, find a small nook,
And open your wonderful book!

Springtime in Meridell
By Airforce_kid30

Flowers whisper in the meadow,
Newborn pets run through the fields.
Wind rustles neighbouring trees,
The sky is bluer than the nearby sea.

Petpets try but fail
To wake the great Turmaculus.
Illusen is busy in her hut,
Creating different potions.

King Skarl resides in his castle,
Giving away those elusive avatars.
Across the road, in a nearby field,
Mortogs explode, not morph into princes.

High above Meridell sits the Citadel,
Looming over the friendly townspeople.
Lord Darigan sits in his castle,
Kicking out visitors, pets, and any folk.

Meridell has wonderful games to play,
Home to potatoes and marrows alike.
Or you could stop for a game of Shapeshifter,
Don't let the goblets and swords confuse thee.

Meridell in springtime,
A wonderful place to be.
Wind whispering, flowers waving,
Underneath the crystal blue sky.
