JUBJUB DAY SPECIAL

The Darigan Jubjub
By Stariell

As you walk through the Citadel,
Mind your step, or be sorry,
For there's a crazed Darigan Jubjub,
Out stalking its quarry.

Check 'round each corner,
Do not run and do not scream,
It is small, purple and fluffy, looks
Like a walking scoop of evil ice cream.

You will know him when you see him,
Just do not make him mad,
Or you too will face the vengeance
Of a Jubjub gone bad.

Others have tried to reason with him,
"Darigan doesn't always mean evil" they said,
But the expense of the paintbrush,
Must have gone straight to his head.

So take care where you're walking,
Or you could be in for a fright,
And leave the Citadel in terror,
With an unpleasant ankle-bite!

A Tropical Jubjub Celebration!
By Anjie

With heated rhythm beat does sound,
The palm fronds bow and sway.
A celebration heard from far,
On dawn of Jubjub day.
Upon a Mystery Island beach,
The music source is found.
A million Jubjub coconuts
Are dancing all around.

Tangerine are massive feet
That hit the golden sand.
A frenzied, rolling dancing treat,
To sounds of Jubjub's band!
The scent of coconut is here,
It lingers on warm breeze.
The tribal dancing draws you in,
And puts your soul at ease.

Tiny as they sway and roll,
Those brown toned forms do dance.
So spellbinding is tribal tune,
It lulls you to a trance.
A break from guiding tourists here,
From carving Tiki masks.
A celebration to relieve,
The bore of mundane tasks!

Within the midst of merry realm,
A feast on table stands.
No plates in sight, and none are held,
(For Jubjubs don't have hands!)
For once a year as dawn does break,
The Jubjubs gather here.
Rejoice in all that's coconut,
And wait another year!

The Tyrannian JubJub
By Alyndasgallery

In the grass of the jungle, by the shade of a cave
Lies a section of grass visited by the brave.
If you care for a gamble, if you're up for a dare
There are three nimble dealers
Who wait for you there.

Blumaroo is all business, Usul knows how to play
But the JubJub you'll see,
Does things his own way.
The game that awaits you is Tyranu Evavu
And if you're lucky, the Jub will tell a story or two.

His name is JarbJarb, a Tyrannian Jub
He's short so he's often propped up on a tub.
Been around for a while,
He knows all that goes on
He especially knows
When you play your cards wrong.

How he deals you don't know,
Has no hands you can see
But this JubJub is swift and his stories are neat.
Play the game if you like, or just sit for a while
I'll bet when you're done
That you'll leave with a smile.

The Jubjub Bandit
By Parmadur

Among the desert dunes
Where heat waves dance,
The sky of bronze, the sand a burning sea,
Where thirst is but a matter of degree,
A caravan of riches lost to chance.
A figure watched them stay their slow advance
And raise their gaudy tents for all to see.
As twilight came, he grinned with cunning glee,
And softly slipped behind guard's watchful glance.
With fur of desert brown, with night-black eyes
The Jubjub Bandit crept through every tent.
Each jar, each sack surrendered up its prize,
Until the robber left, his time well spent.
Among the golden dunes, beneath blue skies,
A bandit fell asleep, his face content.

The Jubjub and the Jibjib
By Brilliance109p

One day a little Jubjub
Bumped into someone queer,
A creature much like Jubjub
Just strangely standing there.

"You're just like me," said Jubjub,
The creature; terrified,
Spoke softly -- barely audible;
"Same here," it then replied.

"It is so strange a thing, my friend
That I should ever see,
A Jubjub that is modified
Yet almost same as me!"

The Jubjub, then he raised his voice,
"So may I ask your name?"
"I'm Jibjib," said the creature,
"And we are much the same."

They stared, equally puzzled,
They stared and stared and stared,
Like looking in a mirror,
And looking unprepared.

"You look like me," said Jubjub,
Some thought inside his eyes,
"Although you look like me, Jibjib
Your name contains an 'I'!"

"Indeed," was what Jibjib replied,
"But I don't really see;
If you're the modern Neopet --
Then what does that make me?"

"Makes you the ancient Neopet!"
Said Jubjub with a grin,
"That means that you are worth a lot,
Of money I will win!"

"How rude you are!" said Jibjib,
"I'm just as great as you,
If you exist and I do not,
I'll be a Jubjub too."

"You don't make sense," hissed Jubjub,
"Even if you change your name,
Neopians will notice that
You are not quite the same."

So both Jubjub and the Jibjib,
Looked each other in the eye,
They heaved a sigh of great distaste
And then they bid goodbye.
