NOX MEMORIAL DAY SPECIAL

Nox's Letter to Xandra
by Angel_star7

Oh Xandra, Xandra, will you ever learn?
Life will bounce back around and turn.
Your the one suffering, stone as can be,
While I have a day dedicated to me!

I may be dead, a ghost perhaps,
But I'm not the one who fell into his trap!
Maybe you lack vision as the girl did, too,
I need a pair a glasses for you.

Although I'm not trying to be a braggart,
I had an Advent Calendar,
You had a poem or two,
It's obvious I beat you.

One more thing I forgot to say,
My life is perfectly fine this way.
I hope you like the present I gave you,
A mustache from me,
Happy Nox Memorial Day.

The Tragic Villain
by Kuroge

What hubris in his character
caused his tragic downfall,
how dreadful his death
yet somehow so banal.

Even as he falls through
the dark, empty abyss,
he cannot recall his flaws...
he cannot reminisce.

Too far near the sun
his feathers touched,
and his mighty ambitions
fell out of his clutch.

In the Haunted Woods
one can find his grave,
but his only visitor is
a slight chilly wave.

The House on the Hill
by Kaddiez

An empty house in the heart of the woods,
Its owner fallen and gone.
Quietly mourning its villainous master
From dusk to the break of dawn.

A haunted mansion in a haunted forest --
What a fitting pair indeed!
And don't forget Hubrid Nox,
Who would sit by the fire and read.

Maybe no morals or goodness he had,
But something was for sure;
Hubrid Nox had amazing taste
For dainty home furniture!

The only people who ever entered
Were certain kinds of visitors.
They always came with a key in hand,
Only seeking the corridor treasures.

Not a drop of caring or keeping was had
For the lonely old home on the hill.
Hardly anyone would even offer poor Nox
Their condolences or good will.

So there it stands, grieving alone;
But really, who would have thought?
That an old house built by Hubrid Nox
Would really have a heart!

The Poem Inscribed On Nox's Grave
by Yoyti

Alas, his life we could not save
You come here to read
This poem I'll lead
And out of sadness you shall rave

There once was a Chia named Nox
He was evil from head down to socks
He had a cool mustache
Of evil plans had a cache
I may say that this Chia still rocks

One day he was framed for a crime
Which he had nothing to do with in time
'Twas Xandra who killed him
The future looked quite grim
And miserable was this rhyme

Now Nox is remembered in sorrow
His grave was showered with yarrow
If you are in grief
'Cause Nox's time was brief
Come back, read this poem tomorrow!

The Brain Tree
by Roobearxo

In the dingy depths of a haunted wood,
A strange apparition resides,
All coated shadows and shades of mud,
The sight could dissolve your eyes.

A great oak tree; not so uncanny, you say,
But wait for the big surprise...
All stretched among its branches, a brain!
And set in his trunk, crimson eyes.

Some say from deep within his bark,
A bellowing voice is expelled.
Frightened shivers erupt in the dark,
Though undeniably, one becomes compelled.

Knowledge is the nectar he seeks,
His brain pulsating with thirsty rage,
Beneath wild Whoots with twisted beaks,
He longs to feel the touch of a written page.

So as you recoil and wish you'd never known,
We come to a regretfully woeful end,
For The Brain Tree still sits ever alone,
Just wishing for a friend.
