"Contestant Number 18, it's your turn," the petpet spotlight judge said.

Down in the audience, a green Kacheek nudged her Raindorf. "Go on, Jingle!" She pushed her chubby petpet onto the stage. "You'll do fine."

"Are you sure, Ryz?"

"Of course."

"Okay..." Jingle walked onstage hesitantly and took the microphone. "Hi, I'm Jingle," he started, "and I wanted to tell you the story about my life." Ryzria, down in the audience, grinned from ear to ear.

"A long long time ago, before I met Ryz, I lived on Mystery Island. I know that most Raindorfs don't live there, but I was very different. You see, the first few months of my life when I lived in the petpet shop in Happy Valley, I didn't have any friends. The blue Bruce who runs the shop took pity on me and told me that he thought he knew someone who would want to take me. But this person was in a very foreign place---Mystery Island. My owner would be none other than the Tombola man himself! I was a little hesitant, but I decided that I would live in Mystery Island. I had a happy life there. But I was a little bored---there were no other petpets there. I had no one to play with. But one day, all that changed. The Tombola man had decided that I needed to have an owner in Neopia, a pet. I had seen the Neopian pets and their owners that visited the island sometimes, but I never really talked to them. A green Kacheek and her owner visited Mystery Island one sunny afternoon, and they saw a notice that I was up for adoption. They went to the Tombola man to ask about me, and before I knew it, I had new owners! My new owner, the Kacheek, was named Ryzria, and her owner was eight_days_a_week. When we got to Neopia, I was amazed. I had never been anywhere other than Mystery Island or Happy Valley. I learned so many things there, and I met many new people, pets, and other petpets. I love Ryz's sisters, Azi, Ikka, and Mimi, and their petpets, Lucibella, Kiki, and Prince Bluewing. I've been so happy, and I've made so many friends. I even get to go back to Mystery Island sometimes and visit the Tombola man. He is always very happy to see me. Although I liked my life on Mystery Island, I like being in Neopia even more. I'm so happy that Ryz found me, and I want to thank her for my wonderful life in Neopia. Thanks for listening to my story, I hope you thought it was interesting."

"Thank you, Contestant 18," the judge said. Jingle walked off the stage to Ryzria.

"You did SUCH a good job up there, Jingle! I'm so proud of you!" Ryz told Jingle when he came down. Jingle blushed dark red.

"Aw, shucks, Ryz," Jingle said.
