 Petpet Name: Thorne Owner: dragonfur77 Pet Name: Famalicious Breed: Rashpid About Thorne: A Rashpid sat on a spot that was slightly bright, near a meteor that had crashed onto Kreludor quite a bit ago, before he had been born. This Rashpid looked around with its golden eyes. Grey rock seemed to be everywhere. The light of the sun then moved to another spot on Kreludor. The Rashpid crawled over to the light, which was even closer to the meteor. His spiky, thorn tail swished about. He shivered. Rashpids were part plant, meaning that if he touched the meteor's magma, he would wilt. Then, the Rashpid heard a pet coming. (He had much practice, because all the time, Neopets would come to poke the meteor with a stick. The Rashpid had no clue how there were sticks on Neopia's moon,) When it got closer, he saw it was a purple Kacheek. The Kacheek picked up a stick and poked the meteor with the brown, rough twig. It disappeared, giving away the plant's camouflage. "A Rashpid!" The Kacheek exclaimed. "I haven't seen one of those in a while! Want to come with me?" she asked, smiling. This was all happening so fast, the plant could barely handle it. Why him? "Ra, raar, rar raa raar a," the Rashpid said. (Translation: "Uh, sure, you can take me.") The Kacheek was still smiling, but the Rashpid was feeling strange. Is this my destiny? he thought. He sure hoped it was, because he liked this Kacheek so far. The Kacheek, whose name turned out to be Famalicious, showed the small plant her home. "It's not fancy at all..." she said. "But it's good enough for me and my sisters. It's hopefully good for you, too!" Smiling, Famalicious walked over to the door, and opened it. (The Rashpid had noticed that she smiled a lot.) Famalicious peered in. It wasn't very fancy -- one bed for each Neopet, and a few other things, like a couch and a few chairs. "Hey, everybody! I finally got a new Petpet!" Famalicious said, looking at the yellow Bori, green Uni, and magma Kougra. "What is it?" asked the Kougra. To the Rashpid, she seemed like the lava that seeped through the meteor all the time. "It's a Rashpid!" the purple Kacheek exclaimed, holding him up happily. "What are you going to name it?" asked the Uni, her Buzzer looking happily at him. "Uh... I haven't thought about a name for him!" Famalicious said. "Any suggestions?" "How about Thorne?" the Bori asked, her Liobits stumbling over the owner's paws. The Kacheek smiled at the yellow pet's suggestion. "Thorne. I like it." She then looked at the Rashpid. "Do you like the name Thorne, little guy?" Famalicious asked the Rashpid. The Rashpid's head nodded vigorously. "Ra rara ar!" (Translation: "I love it!")
