The Tale of Jeran: From Boy to Warrior--Part Three

by jiggles24944

At Meridell around the same time...

"Stop, thieves!"

Six Draiks rushed out of Potato Counter, with every Potato there in their sacks! They were running at a dangerous speed, knocking everything over in their path. They were hoping not to be caught, but they weren't fast enough. Aizen's sword thudded in front of the Draiks, coating them in sand. Jeran and Aizen were already there.

The Draiks quickly dropped their sacks, split into two groups, with three in each group, and dashed off in different directions. Jeran began chasing three Draiks, while Aizen pulled his sword out and flew to the clouds, where he could pinpoint the other three. He watched them jump into a dark cave close to Pick Your Own. Like a comet he charged downward at light speed towards the place and landed right at the cave entrance.

Meanwhile, Jeran was chasing the three Draiks through Meridell until he was at Turmaculus, where he found them gasping for breath. When they saw him they shrieked with fright, but then they got into fighting stance nervously and took out their Scamander swords. Jeran then unsheathed his sword, which gleamed brightly from the Sun's rays, blinding everyone else's eyes. This was a sneaky trick of Jeran's. While they couldn't see, he did an uppercut on a Draik and kicked a blow to another ones stomach, knocking them out cold.

He was about to finish off the last Draik when it jumped backward. It was a rainbow Draik, bigger than the others and had glowing eyes. He seemed to have not been affected from the bright light like the other Draiks, and looked like he was their boss. Jeran smirked.

"At last, a challenge for once," Jeran said. "Now I will actually use some energy."

The Draik was stunned when he heard this. Jeran's body seemed to light up as he charged.

     SLASH!

Jeran cut the Scamander sword in two, creating a sonic boom from the ferociousness of the attack. The Draik was left with a sword hilt. Scared half to death, he ran aimlessly in fright. He accidentally tripped on a stone and was headed right towards Turmaculus' open mouth. Turmaculus shut his mouth tight, eating the rainbow Draik.

"Well, maybe not a challenge," Jeran murmured. He tied up the unconscious Draiks in a tight knot, and dragged them back to the castle, where they would be jailed.

After a long time, Jeran finally reached the castle. Two Korbats took the tied up Draiks and sent them down to the prison. Aizen had just entered the building, except he had no Draiks with him. Jeran knew that Aizen was a much stronger and more experienced knight, and could easily figure out those Draiks were dead.

A lot had happened to Jeran the past month. They took shifts with other knights patrolling the area, so everywhere they went it would be safe for the pets. Jeran never knew that the job would be so boring most of the time, because most Neopets didn't risk trying robberies. He wanted excitement, but never said it out loud because he wasn't supposed to. He had learned new tricks from Aizen, and made up his own.

His old companion Joanako saluted smartly and said normally, "Skarl wants to have a meeting with every knight." Jo had learned to speak properly from one of the speaking instructors in the castle. He wondered what Skarl would announce as he entered Skarl's throne room.

Meriheim

When Metriod Prime slashed out at Domar, but almost instantly the evil Gelert had a Sword of Domar blocking it. Domar had some magic inside, but only enough to make a new Sword of Domar appear every time he needed one.

The blades zoomed and clashed for a half a minute. Domar was on the offensive until they both locked blades. Then, Metriod pushed hard against Domar's sword. Domar toppled over, leaving his feet exposed. This is what Metriod had been trying to do the entire time. He grabbed Domar's legs and began spinning them round and round in a circle. When he was about to throw Domar he spun the giant Gelert very quickly, leaving Domar in the air for a few seconds (still spinning!), he charged up energy in his foot. Right when Domar was about to fall, he kicked him into the air like a soccer ball. The Gelert flew through the air like a spinning missile. He hit a chunk of the mountain that then cracked and landed on his head, and fell all the way down to where he was fighting.

This got Domar angry. He hurled the cracked chunk of rock like a football at Metriod.

     SLICE!

Metriod cut the rock in two. Domar, enraged, charged like a berserk Tonu. He swung his sword downward with all his power. Metriod blocked it effortlessly with his sword. He then lifted his Million Degree Sword up into the air, sending Domar spinning upwards. The Green Gelert landed with a thud on the ground, making a small circle of dust around him. Metriod walked towards the stunned Gelert's neck, and prepared to strike.

"Now to end this evil forever," the Poogle shouted. Just when he was about to destroy Domar, Pooglex, who had stayed far away from the battle, grabbed Metriod. While Metriod lay trapped, Pooglex absorbed him.

Domar watched as the force fusion took shape. Pooglex opened his mouth wide, wider than normal. The struggling Metriod morphed into a bright ball of energy. It entered Pooglex's mouth, and went downward into the stomach. Instantly Pooglex's body changed. He went from Baby to Fire color, but still had the Baby Poogle ribbon and ears. Domar smiled an evil smile.

Domar asked proudly, "Who are you?"

The new Pooglex answered, his voice the same as before, "I am... Pooglex Prime!" The thunder clapped loudly as he said this.

"Wonderful..." Domar said. "Then onward to Meridell!"

Meridell Castle, Skarl's Throne Room

"It has come to my attention that a floating mountain has destroyed nearby Meriheim," Skarl announced, "Scouts in the area have just told me that only two pets on the mountain survived. They also said that strange activity such as the forgotten ability to absorb had taken place. The two pet's description were this; Poogle with a strange sledgehammer, and a strong Gelert with many battle scars."

     "Domar and Pooglex!" Aizen yelled.

     "Who are they?" Skarl asked.

"I met them while traveling the land a long time ago. It had looked as if they had fought each other, and Domar had won. They were having a discussion, so I found out their names then. Domar attacked me for no real reason. I managed to pin him and give him a scar on his face he'll never forget. I left him for dead, but Pooglex was in hiding during the battle, and must have healed Domar when I left. Domar is very dangerous, but with Pooglex's magic, he can destroy the planet."

"Very well then," Skarl said. "I will send out every knight towards his mountain as soon as he lands, and we can end his tyranny once and for all time!"

The knights have planned the invasion, and they are ready to attack! What battles will the knights encounter next time? You'll have to wait and see...
