First off let me say I am a Lupe supporter, but I will
try to make this article as unbiased as I can. OK, with that out of the
way I’m going to start. This article is going to be separated into two
parts: Why Choose The Lupe Side, and Why Choose The Chia Side. But first
let me quickly explain what the Chia/Lupe debate is for you Newbies. It
all started when the Chias started to become very popular. They had lots
of cards, Battledome weapons, items, and games, plus many people thought
they were cute. Other NeoPets quickly became agitated. Some even grew
violent. Soon the Lupes started an underground guild devoted to hunting
Chias. Once new got out about Those Who Hunt Chias (the guild)
Neopians were shocked and many of them rushed to help the Chias. Soon
Those Who Hunt Chias was in need of help, so Neopians who didn’t
like Chias helped the Lupes. Now every Neopian is either a supporter of
the Chias or the Lupes.
Now each species has its strengths and weaknesses which
I will try my best to tell you, so that you decided for yourself which
species is best suited for you, keep in mind it may not be the side your
best friends on.
Why Choose The Chia Side?
Well number one, Chias are known for being loyal and
very sweet, but there are exceptions. And of course there are the Chias
who didn’t do anything that are being hunted and eaten by the Lupes. I
mean, it wasn’t them who created all the games, and items. But many waved
it in others faces and acted superior to other NeoPets, like they were
to good for us. Chia supporters feel the Chias are the victims in all
this, that the Lupes got mad and attacked without even thinking that the
Chias were not the ones who created all the stuff, that the Lupes actions
were childish and not called for, that it never should have happened.
Why Choose The Lupe Side?
Lupes are very brave, strong, and protective of their
owners. But Lupes are very independent and don’t like taking orders. Lupe
supporters feel the Lupes are the victims, that after all the taunting
and teasing to Lupes short temper took hold and they snapped. They feel
that the Chias started the fight, that the Lupes just threw the first
public punch. They say the Chias probable did the same thing to other
NeoPets, but they never thought that someone would finally stand up to
them. Boy were they wrong, wrong, wrong. Now the Chias are paying for
every insult, every look down there nose, every NeoPet they hurt, with
interest.
