Do you spend your Neopoints just as fast as you earn
them? If you play a lot of games, earn a lot of money, and still have
an empty bank account, then this guide was made just for you.
There are a lot of Big Spenders out there that don’t
like to save money, but like to blow it all on toys, food, and magical
items. I know exactly how you guys feel. I like to spoil my pets
sometimes, show off by putting cool items in my shop, or just buy stuff
because it’s sold for a really cheap price. However, you should always
remember that there might come a rainy day when you’ll need medicine to
heal your pet, or food because your pet is starving. That’s why you should
always have some Neopoints stashed away in your bank account, just in
case. I know it’s hard, that’s why I put together the following list to
make it easier for you.
1. If you plan on buying something expensive, always
search the market place for it first. You never know how much you can
save. Maybe even thousands. Remember, better safe than sorry.
2. If you’re selling something in your shop, search the
market place as well. You might be putting a cheap price on something
very expensive.
3. When you’ve earned some Neopoints, don’t spend them
on something rare or unnecessary. Make sure you’ve got the basics first.
Don’t buy Codestones before you have food and toys.
4. Avoid buying stuff you don’t need. Don’t buy a couch
if you don’t have a NeoHome. Where do you plan on putting it?
5. Put some money in the bank as often as you can. For
example put in 10 to 50 Neopoints everyday. It’s not a big amount, but
it’ll pay off. When you have a lot of money saved up, you can start putting
in less, and spending more.
6. If you just bought something expensive, make sure
you earn that money back by playing games. You don’t have to earn it back
immediately, but make sure you do earn it back.
7. I know you’ve been told this before, but here it goes
again. PLAY GAMES!
I hope you realise that games are the best way to earn money. Most of
the money in my bank account was earned by playing games. The games I
get my money from are Meerca Chase, Switch-A-Roo, Cheat!, Pterattack,
Destruct-O-Match, and Ice Cram factory. Another good game is the Treasure
Hunt. If you complete it you get a piece of Space Map, which can be sold
for a large chunk of Neopoints
8. When you buy something in the main shops you don’t
have to give the shopkeeper as many Neopoints as he or she is asking for.
Try to bargain with the shopkeepers, offer them a few Neopoints less.
If you’re buying something really expensive you can save dozens of Neopoints
However, you do need to stay reasonable, or else you’ll get kicked out
of the shop.
9. If you’re collecting something like Usuki dolls or
trading cards, don’t buy them all at once. Wait until you earn more money,
and then purchase more.
10. Most importantly, remember that you are playing NeoPets
for fun, and to take good care of your pets. The point of the game isn’t
to make the most money, or to own the rarest items. It is to look after
your pets, and to have a great time doing it.
If you use these ten tips in your daily Neopian life
you’ll become rich and ready for a rainy day in no time. That’s how I
did it. |
