Editorial
This week's editorial will be slightly different. As we were in the UK doing the Hamleys launch we
thought we would give everyone a little more info and some silly pictures too :)
Day 1
- The Neopets team arrive in London, it is not raining so thats a good start! After a long flight we
are all pretty tired so after a few hours seeing the sights we head off to bed.
- We all go to the Capital FM studios, home of Disney Radio for an interview and a tour of the
radio station. If you want to hear Donna and Anthony it is due to go out on Friday during the
4pm-7pm show :)
Afterwards we head down to Shepherds Bush to the home of the BBC. We had a tour of the place (its HUGE) saw
where Top of the Pops is filmed and then chatted with some CBBC staff about Neopets and the Hamleys launch.

- Day 3
The Neopets team start off the day going to Great Ormond Street children's hospital where we have a
full size Lupe walking around and we give away tons of plushies. This was a lot of fun and the plushies
went down really well.
Later on we have interviews with lots of newpaper reporters including the Financial Times and even a TV interview - eek!
If anyone get London Tonight there is going to be a short bit about the beginnings of Neopets sometime this week.
- Day 4
This is the day we had all been waiting for. At 9am there is already a small queue forming outside Hamleys toy shop.
We sneak in the back entrance and have a look around. There are large displays on each floor piled high with
voice-activated Neopets. Nervously we waited for the doors to open, and everyone to arrive.
The day was a fantastic success, thanks to everyone that came along. Anthony and Keith were drawing personalised
pictures all day and despite the wait to get your picture drawn being over 3 hours long at times there everybody seemed to
be having a good time.
We talked to a lot of players and got some very helpful feedback (you may notice some of the changes that were
requested on New Features this week). Hamleys was packed all day and they even stayed open later for us.
It was a tiring trip but a lot of fun. Thanks again to everyone that helped make it such a wonderful few days :)
