The two headed for the auditorium. They were 5 minutes
late, but still it hadn't started. People were crowding around, talking, laughing,
unaware of the horrific event about to happen tonight. Gabby's heart was beating
faster. Suddenly, the lights dimmed, and everyone clapped.
"This is it," Gabby thought.
A woman in her twenties came out on stage.
"Hello Hello Neopets!!"
All the little Neopets in the house cheered.
"And Hi all of you users who have gathered here
today to take part in the HappyJoyJoyFunWorld Sleepoverpalooza!!!"
"YAAAY!" Hershey screamed
"To start off, we'll be doing-" Suddenly, a
deep voice interrupted her.
"To start off, we'll be doing something unscheduled,
where you will all take part..."
Everyone looked up to see where the voice was
coming from, and all of a sudden a piece of the roof fell to the ground, and
a purple cloud floated down.
A lot of people screamed and yelled and pointed
at the suspended cloud.
All of a sudden, there was dead silence, and
Gabby's fierce heartbeat was the only sound in the deathly silent auditorium.
Gabby knew what was in that cloud...
All of a sudden, a figure appeared, and it was
enveloped in purple and green light. Jhudora's evil face appeared, with her
long, purple hair flowing, and her body assembled, revealing a large, long dress
the same color as her hair, her manicured fingers purple, painted green. Jhudora
had just revealed herself, which then caused instant panic across the room.
"Oh, all of you, be quiet!!!" Jhudora screamed
and let out a ghastly purple spray from her cloud. As soon as she spotted Gabby
and her two Neopets, she hit them with a bubble, keeping them from the spreading
poison gas.
"Jennie! GET OUT OF HERE!!!" Gabby screamed
at her friend, nearly crying.
Jennie turned and made a sprint for the exit,
but was hit with the gas and keeled over, just as her neopet did as well.
"JENNIE! NOOO!" Gabby screamed, suddenly ripping
off the necklace. She looked at it, then screamed ,"ILLUSEN! COME OUT! I NEED
YOUR HELP!" And Illusen's green form morphed in the air, with a battle face
on.
"You have what I want!" Jhudora said, when the
last person keeled over, she swopped down and released them from the bubble.
"You can't have it!" Gabby cried.
"I AM UNDER STRICT ORDERS BY MY MASTER DARIGAN
TO GET THAT GLOBE FROM YOU! GIVE IT TO ME OR I WILL HAVE TO FORCE YOU!"
"LEAVE HER ALONE, SISTER!" Illusen screamed
at her crazy sister.
"I want it NOW!" Jhudora knocked it out of Gabby's
hands.
Hershey was screaming and threw the little poison
snowball at Jhudora.
"Ahhh!" Jhudora exclaimed and threw a lightning
bolt at Hershey.
Hershey screamed as well, and fell to the floor.
She couldn't be dead, because Neopets never die.
Gabby fell free of Jhudora's grip and yelled
at baby.
"HON! GRAB YOUR GORMBALL AND--- AHHH!" Gabby
was cut short but a lightning bolt just as Hershey, but since she was a human,
she was badly injured.
Gabby wanted to say something, but was reduced
to a sobbing, rolling lump on the floor. There was a slow, white-hot pain spreading
through her body, and she felt as if she was lighting up. "I'm... dying..."
Gabby thought slowly. She felt a flashback through her head, it was all a jumble.
"Nothing like a bolt a lightning to kill a best friend," Jennie sang, with her
Poogle in a suit, snapping it's paws. Hershey was there bouncing in and out
with Spy and chanting "Goodbye, Gabby... Goodbye, Gabby." Suddenly Hershey and
Baby turned into asparagus and sang "Nothing like asparagus, asparagus... la
la la!" And Gabby knew she was slowly dying...
Illusen, meanwhile, fell to the ground and cried
to her friend, "GABBS! WAKE UP! NO! NO!" Illusen turned around and her eyes
turned the color of her bright red hair. "YOU WILL PAY, SISTER!" she slowly
said, dripping enthusiasm on every syllable, and lunged at Jhudora, who was
to quick. She reached out and grabbed Illusen's neck, plunging her against the
wall.
Illusen was squirming to get to her sister,
and Jhudora laughed,"Ha! You should have chosen the dark side... Mua ha ha ha
ha ha!"
Illusen sent spy a mind message, who was still
there, frozen in fright, gormball at hand.
"Spy, hear me, I know you can, I know your mother
taught you to read minds... Use your gormball to hit the little globe, it was
smash and you will get your owner back..." Illusen thought.
"But... I can't hit the ball or aim it!!!" Spy
shot back.
"If you believe in yourself, you can do anything!"
Illusen encouraged the Meerca.
Spy heard the message in her head, and nodded
to Illusen. She yelled "Nah nah nah, Jhuuuudora!" As Jhudora looked around to
see spy, she let go of Illusen, who then hit her with two razor-sharp leaves,
binding her against the wall. She squirmed in anger as she watched Spy aim the
gormball.
Just as Spy was about to hurl the ball, Illusen
went up to a safe distance to Jhudora, smiled and said in a mocking tone,"Ya
should have gone on the dark side, Illusen, mah mah mah... well, we all know
whose side is better now, don't we?"
Spy smiled and hit the globe. It smashed and
let out a thundering boom, and green light turned the area into a green, magical
dome. Jhudora screamed and was blinded in the light and poofed away, leaving
only purple sparkles. Gabby and everyone else woke up, including Hershey and
Jennie.
None of the regular people remembered the whole
incident, but when Jennie saw Illusen, she remembered it. She walked out of
the place, and took Gabby with her.
"Are you sure you don't know what happened?"
Jennie asked.
"I was hit with a lightning bolt and blacked
out. I almost died." Gabb carefully explained, sighing.
Illusen walked out with them.
"Well, I must be leaving, now that this is done,
I must go rebuild my home. But, Gabby and Jennie, your little Spy saved the
day. I think she deserves a nice treat. May I suggest....?" Illusen whispered
something in her ear, and Gabby smiled and nodded.

Spy woke up the next morning and smelled smoke. She threw open her blue covered
and ran down the polished wooden steps, yelling "THE HOUSE IS BURNING DOWN...
the house is burning... down???"
Spy was surprised that the smoke was coming
from lit green candles, with Jenny, her cute Poogle, Illusen, Hershey, and Gabby,
all standing around an asparagus cake with "WAY TO GO, BABY" in green letters.
Spy ran down the stairs and stared at the asparagus
cake. It was hers. Her name on it. She screamed happily and blue out the candles
and Everyone sang "Nothing like asparagus to warm a hero's belly!"
Spy then knew this must have been about About
the night at HappyJoyJoyFunWorld, how she saved her own owner from dying. She
was so happy, she nearly forgot the little tiny gormball under the letters,
but also a little tiny leaf-globe with a baby Meerca. that look amazingly like
her, standing in the middle, with leaves floating around her, with a sticky
note at the top:

Someday, I know you will do great things.
I think you deserve this. Use it well in battle, my little gormball champion.
