 Petpet Name: Atta Owner: kasturb Pet Name: yukiokamonta Breed: Altachuck About Atta: It was late afternoon, the sun was low in the sky over Altador. A red Kyri sat on a bench, kicking his heels, reminding himself that his older sister would probably spend ages in Exquisite Ambrosia, arguing about the price of stuffed figs. Yukio sighed, finished off his fig sandwich, his new family could be so annoying at times- but then again, it was better than living in the Neopian Pound. He yawned, realising how tired he was. Maybe it would alright if he took a nap, just for a moment... * * * When Yukio woke up again, he felt like something was missing. The sun was too warm on his head- Suddenly he shot upright in surprise, searching his head for the familiar weight of his hat. "Oh no", he sprang to his feet, searching desperately for the woven hat he'd brought from home. Suddenly there it was, beside the bench, Yukio sighed with relief, went to pick it up- The hat started to move. Puzzled, Yukio tried to pick it up again, but it scuttled away, whatever was under the hat squeaked and sped off. "Hey!" the Kyri ran after it. Catching a hat is harder than it looks, it jumped through bushes, dodged round trees, scurried across busy paths. Yukio tried to catch it, he really did, but he just crashed into said bushes, tripped over the tree roots, and when he went onto the busy road; you can guess what happened then. Finally he slowed down outside the Hall of Heroes, "I... can't go on", he panted, "you win..." The thing under the hat paused outside the Hall. Yukio took the opportunity, he dived for the hat, the thing under it squealed as his paws closed around it, "Got you, you little beast!" he grunted as he reached under the hat and dragged the creature out. A pair of massive orange eyes blinked up at him, a tiny petpet with grey and white fur, two sharp horns curved back at the base of its head. The Altachuck sneezed, shook its head, it wriggled uncomfortably and stared up at the Kyri. It looked so small and innocent that Yukio relented, he put the Altachuck back down on the marble floor, "Oh all right, that was a pretty good stunt you pulled, go on". The Altachuck didn't move however, Yukio nudged it with his foot, "Go on, you can go". The petpet nudged him back, made a squeaky noise, then looked pointedly at the door. "What? You want to come with me?!" The Altachuck nodded, made a 'Brrrup'ing sound. "OK then, it might be fun to have you around", Yukio picked up his hat, popped it back on his head, then picked up the Altachuck, "Let's go Atta". Atta squealed happily, waving his fluffy paws in the air. * * * Yukios' adoptive sister, Wyn, was surprised to find her younger brother carrying an Altachuck in his arms. This didn't mean that she wasn't pleased to see that he'd finally got himself a petpet like his other brother and sister. She cooed and stroked Attas' head, "He's so sweet! What's his name?" "Atta", Yukio beamed proudly, Atta 'brrrup'ed smugly at all the attention. Xing, Wyns' Tomamu was practically going green, not being the centre of attention, but no one seemed to mind (or care at the moment). Things were promising to become a lot more interesting...
