1. The Orb
Meridell originally stole the orb that turned Meridell into what it is today
from Darigan and caused lots of hurt and sorrow in Darigan. Also as you should
know stealing is a crime.
Section 2 - The Rip-offs in Meridell
2. Pick your own
Firstly in the rip-offs we have pick your own. That farmer must be visiting
hidden tower pretty often with all the money he makes from this rip off! 200
NP to enter the farm and pick berries. The first bad thing about this is that
you can only pick six berries. The game contradicts its own name. You choose
a place and it picks a random berry/item. Surely you if you saw a pile of dung
you wouldn't want to go near it never mind pick it up and take it away with
you! 200 NP to get in and "pick your own berries" which when you leave you
can sell for about 10 NP maximum! Pick your own scores a 8/10 on the rip-off
scale.
3. Illusen's Quest
Yep, Illusen's Quest is next on the rip-offs section. Illusen Acts pretends
to be all nice and innocent and there's the "I hate the dark faeries" act. Look
at Jhudora, isn't Illusen's Quest exactly the same as Jhudora's Quest? If she
hates her so much why would she try to copy her? She's another greedy rip-off
merchant, that's why! She asks you to buy her items and give them to her. You
only get items in return about 25% of the time and they are items that are pretty
useless. Illusen's cream cookies, a food item. If we want food we go to Tyrannia
for free omlette! Illusen's Comb, a grooming item. If we want to groom our pets
we go to the grooming parlour or the shop wizard. Can we sell these worthless
items for much NP. Nope, we can't. Illusen's Quest scores a 7/10 on the rip-off
scale.
4. Double or Nothing
Double or Nothing, a rip-off game. That greedy Skeith tries to con you out of
your money by playing a game against you. If you lose you are 10 NP poorer.
If you do win you will probably never get much more than 80 NP before you lose
to him. This is a complete waste of people's time and a disgrace to the many
great Neopets games. Fortunately for that crafty Skeith this isn't such a huge
scam to the good people of Neopia so his Double or Nothing only scores a 3/10
on the rip-off scale.
Section 3 - A Question of Morals
5. Personal Hygiene
Have you seen the hygiene standards of the people of Meridell? They are terrible.
The clothes they wear need a wash (not to mention a change of style), Meridell
isn't exactly the winner of the tidiest town award, and the smell! I can't even
begin to describe the smell of Meridell to people who haven't been there. Haven't
they ever heard of a bathtub?
6. Draik Eggs
The Draik, one of our great Neopet friends. Loved by many and coming from Meridell
in the first place. So why are the people of Meridell selling their eggs for
food!? Cannibalism is not a nice thing and I'm sure that you or your Neopets
wouldn't enjoy eating a Draik.
7. Draik Eggs 2
The Draik Nest, a place in Meridell for hatching Draik eggs. I suggest any Draiks
or Pure Draik Lovers should not read the rest of this reason. In the "real world"
(the human world) bird eggs or any other eggs in fact need time to hatch on
their own. If you crack an egg open early the baby inside may not have fully
developed and I'm sure people would not like any deformed pets. (No offence
to mutant pets.)
8. Meridell Food
My pets and many other people's Neopets have complained about the terrible taste
of Meridell's food. I'm sure most pets would prefer to eat a lemon and lime
fish pop mixed with some mummy spaghetti than eat Meridell's food. So what's
worse, the taste of Meridell's food or the smell of Meridell's people?
9. Escape from Meridell Castle
Escape from Meridell Castle is a game in which you play as a Draik attempting
to escape the dungeon of Meridell Castle. No one has told us what this Draik
has done to deserve being locked in the dungeon. Was he working with the invaders
of Meridell? Or was he put there as a bit of fun for King Skarl? The people
of Neopia have a right to know!
10. Turmaculus
The Turmaculus, the "king of petpets". Mostly sleeps and is a challenge to wake
up. However your Neopets beloved petpets could become his next snack! The people
of Neopia don't go around eating each other. Neopets don't eat each other. So
why should Turmaculus (and Balthazar, but that's nothing to do with Meridell)
be allowed to eat petpets?
People of Neopia, you have read the case given to you. So get out there and
join the Darigan army to defeat Meridell and solve these issues. |
