 Pet Name: nacgoodgirl Owner: bobjack5 Breed: Kau About nacgoodgirl: You walk down the cobbled road, the smell of fresh straw and wood swirling around you. In front of you there is a huge barn house with a white picket fence around it. Petpets are grazing on either side of you. You would normally think this was a nice place, but not today. Today, you are on a quest. Finally, after years of training, you have graduated from the academy. You were on the top of your class the whole way, and now it is time for you to start your apprenticeship with one of the greatest thinkers of the land. That is why you have journeyed for so many days. This is what you have waited for. But can this really be the home of the wise Nacgoodgirl you have heard of? You must have gotten the wrong directions from that shady looking Jetsam in that last town. This looks like some kind of farm. You see a Kau over on the side of the path. She’s probably a farm hand or something. You hope she can understand your scholarly language. Top of the class at the academy and all, you have the right to think highly of yourself. You decide to stop and ask her directions. "Do you know where someone called Nacgoodgirl lives?" you ask, impatience in your voice. "I do indeed," she replies sweetly. "Well, can you point me to her please?" you ask with a slight hint of irritation. "That would be me," she replies, seemingly oblivious to your change in tone. "Oh..." you stutter. "Hello there, I’m sorry I didn’t recognize you, I just didn't realize you would look so..." You trail off. "Plain?" She laughs. "Yes, many people don't understand why I keep my appearance so simple. But I find that if I focus on my looks, I don't spend nearly as much time as I’d like on the more significant aspects of life. Maybe you, with your educated look, and head held high, have more to learn than you expected." You are still dubious of this Kau in front of you, and she can obviously see that, because she grabs your paw and says, "Come on!" She takes you over to her barn, and when you enter, you gasp. All over the walls are hundreds of books overflowing from their shelves. Astounded by this impressive collection, you turn to Nacgoodgirl. "You've read all of these books?" you exclaim in awe. She chuckles at your look of wonder, and says, "I believe so. Just like I told you, I don't spend time on looks, or consider what others think of me. So when it comes down to it, I have a lot more time for the things that are really important to me." You’ve never thought of things this way. What would your world be like if you didn’t care what people thought? You are still uncertain about the greatness of this humble looking cow, but what she says makes sense. Maybe she really is the wise one you were seeking.
