TRAINING SCHOOL - Read "The
Jubjub Speaks on Neomailing a Writer" for information on the Jubjub
mentioned. Of late, he received a letter from several prominent figures in present
Neopia. Its contents are reproduced below.
To all aspiring Neopian Times article-writers,
The three of us agree to a certain extent that creativity should be encouraged
and not stifled. However, we also unanimously consent with the reality that
works of fiction should be declared as such, not disguised as factual reports.
Over the past weeks of The Neopian Times, we, as well as other undeserving
personas, have been subjected to the distress caused words of the numerous Neopians
who read the weekly newspaper. Although most of these happenings have passed
over and we are no longer harmed by it personally, we still believe that it
should be stopped, lest other innocent Neopians be accused of something he or
she did not do.
One of us, Dr_Death, sent a similar letter
to The Neopian Times quite a few weeks before, but we feel that this issue still
needs to be brought to your attention, as even creatures such as the Snowager
are being blamed.
We have decided to publish it through The Neopian Times top fan, whose picture
is prominently displayed at the top of every page of The Neopian Times.
We are not asking you to discard the article you have sweat over to produce,
but simply beseech all of you to send it in for publication as a short story
instead of an article if it was only a figment of your imagination. We hope
that you can just do this one straightforward act for us, and would like to
thank all related parties for helping us get this letter into the Times.

If you do write articles yourself, or plan to do so, please bear the consequences
in mind. Even if they do not involve you, they may bring complications to others.
If you have written a recount on your meeting or investigation of a NeoPet,
Faerie or any further personalities, make sure they don't mind having it circulated.
That's the message I want to convey for now. Next week (or maybe next month,
I'm super busy), I'll appear with an article on how to… well, don't want to
keep any of our hopes high. If you have any queries, feel free to Neomail
me. Ta-ta for now, see you soon! |
