Jhudora is the Dark Faerie that has taken a spot in Faerieland and called it,
funnily enough, Jhudora's
Cloud. For the past month Jhudora has been asking for fellow Neopians
to collect seemingly useless items for her in exchange for points and items.
Now, I have been wondering what could she possibly want with a Blonde Pigtails
Usuki Hair Set, or a Strawberry Snow Puff ? How many of these items must she
have collected by now, Thousands, Millions? What is her ultimate plan for these
items? Or perhaps she is just working for a more sinister power.
Her house is located on the West Side of Faerieland. This is not the nicest
part of town as it has been abandoned for a long time. Because of the low rent
price, Jhudora possibly sent up her home and place of business here to attract
those on their way to solve Faerie Quests. Her swelling, dank hole of a cloud,
although suitable for a Dark Faerie, does suggest that she may be hiding something
in its inner depths. So, just looking at her location we can see that she is
hiding something from the Neopians. Before even entering her cloud, her victims
can hear her echoing the words "Hello, My Pretty". This is a telltale sign of
a witch, who is developing an evil scheme, evident from The Wicked Witch of
the West. And with that, you enter her cavernous cloud.
Jhudora's appearance is the first thing that strikes you. Her claw-like hand
pulls you into her house as she greets you "Welcome to my home..." Her sickly
green and purple outfit makes you think that although she is a powerful Dark Faerie, that she has no sense of fashion. Her bat-like Faerie wings are very
different to her sisters and the foul green glow behind her did not come from
working in a Nuclear Power Plant. Altogether, Jhudora's appearance and greeting
is not very welcoming and from that point on, I suggest to worthy candidates
that you beware.
Jhudora then puts forward her proposition to her potential helpers. She offers
that instead of going around collecting items for her sisters that you help
her collect items and she will give you "magical artifacts of ultimate power!"
It seems almost too good to be true. Other Faeries only come to you VERY rarely
to offer you a chance to help them out while; Jhudora is offering it once a
day. She says she'll begin with easy quests and after that they will become
harder and with that, the rewards greater. This is the deal-sealer because who
could resist magical artifacts of ultimate power. And so, you click "I Accept!"
But then, you receive a warning "Are you sure you want to help her? She IS
a Dark Faerie." You begin to wonder, what is she up to? Could she be taking
all these items, extracting their magical powers, and turning it into a gigantic
weapon to destroy all of Neopia? Could she be using these items as bait to catch
the ever-elusive Snowager? But, surely the good leaders of Neopia would never
allow such an atrocity take place. I mean, at least the Faerie Queen and all
the other Faeries would stop Jhudora's evil plans before they came to pass.
And so, with your absolute trust of the great powers of Neopia you accept Jhudora's
quest, with a click of the "OK" button. You rush off the get the item in time
and return to present her with it. If you are lucky she gives you a rare and
magical item. She gives you A HAIRBRUSH? Oh well, I only spent 200 NP maybe
next it will be better. Hopefully you'll get to do the quest again before she
turns Neopia in a smouldering Pile
of Sludge. But, The NeoPets Staff would never allow that... would they? |
