Have you ever wondered why your best items are turned into Sludge right after
you buy it? Wonder why people need to keep that sludge? But why was sludge ever
made? Was it part of an evil plan? Well, that is what this article is here to
answer.
Sludge use to be priceless in Neopia... for about one day. Why? Well,
no one had it yet! After a while though, more and more was made. Sloth destroyed
items and it became sludge. But still people had to hang on to it, to reflect
and remember the dear lost item that cost and meant so much. Why did Sloth do
it? Was it for fun, or a conspiracy?
Here is why: Sloth probably destroyed all good items, so no one could
rebel against him. Why else??? You buy a Rod of Nova, and *Poof* it's sludge.
You get a new paintbrush and *bam* it's sludge. Why else would Sloth get rid
of items in Neopia? Of course it is logical to do so when you want to take over
Neopia. So it's what he did. Coincidence? I think not. Conspiracy? Yes.
Why do people keep their sludge? Well, in the first days of Neopia, sludge
was priceless. It was new... maybe a part of some big contest? Well, after a
while, the sludge started to rot and get smelly. Then more people got sludge.
So after a while, most tried to give it away or destroy it. But some kept it,
just in case. Some people even collected sludge, and some were just too sad
to lose the once-wonderful item.
Sludge has its uses also. Skeiths and Grarrls can eat it, and you can buy
it for a cheap price. Maybe it could make good makeup, or good soil for plants.
Ever thought about what Shadow Paintbrushes are made out of? How do they get
it so dark? Sludge. Maybe Sloth will make the sludge into evil minions to take
over Neopia. We may never know. Collecting sludge might be a good thing, because
who knows what it might do in the future?
Sludge can make a good preset for your enemies. It's a good way to say, "I
don't like you, so here. Have my garbage." Maybe for good friends, you can make
a sculpture out of it. Either way, sludge is a good gift.
So for now, I'd suggest keeping your precious sludge. Maybe one day, it can
turn back into an item worth while. But remember this: It might not.
Just be cautious around your sludge, and if you throw it out, make sure the
wrong person doesn't get it.... |
