The Cheapest NeoHome Theme

by spiritguardian

I bet you've thought of making a room, or even your whole house, have a special theme, huh? For example, buying a house on Mystery Island, and having only coconut and bamboo furniture! So, what's the cheapest theme? Tyrannian! Tyrannia might be a strange place, but, hey, where else is their a Wheel of Mediocrity, concerts daily, games, and a cave with a monster at the end? Tyrannia is an exciting place to live, and even better, the furniture and building materials are cheap cheap cheap!!! First of all, you have to buy the land. Getting land in Tyrannia might not be the cheapest option, but it is the third cheapest, and isn't the worst place to stay. The price of land in Tyrannia is 3500 NP. Yea, for some Newbies this might seem expensive, but play games as much as you can every day, for three days, and I bet you can get enough. Remember: You can only send your score three times a day for each game. So if you know that you're best at, oh, let's say Meerca chase, is 300 and you get 50, DON'T send that score. This might be obvious to most of you, but it's REALLY important if you want to get a lot of NP every day, so I want to remind the Newbies and other people who have forgotten or never knew.

The next step, after getting your NeoHome application approved, is to create a room. Play a few more games if you need to, but this part shouldn't be all that expensive unless you plan to go for stone building materials. So what you need to do is choose your building material Remember. If you only plan on creating four rooms, than you can spend a little more than if you plan on one day building twenty rooms. So, anyway, here's a list of the materials I thought could be considered Tyrannian.

Straw: 250 NP
The cheapest building material, it got on the list because it was the cheapest, most affordable material, and, well, it seemed a little bit prehistoric. Although that's just my opinion

Twigs: 300 NP
The next cheapest, this too got on the list for being a useful, cheap material that both Newbies and veterans of Neopets could easily afford. Also, I bet it's pretty easy to find sticks and twigs in Tyrannia. (After all, what else would they use for firewood?)

Bamboo: 400 NP
Again, same reasons as straw and twigs, bamboo is not super expensive, but, as it is not commonly found around Tyrannia, this one was a close call. In the end, it made the cut because of the price, the fact it's a plant product, and I needed one more for this list.

Wood: 500 NP
This is my favourite building material. It's a little fancy for Tyrannia, I feel, but that it's a nice material for those who want slightly higher quality than twigs, but still want a plant material.

Stone: 800 NP
This one should be obvious. If not, you might need to go back up to the top and refresh your mind that all of this is about Tyrannia. This was the only rock/stone material that's there, so, if you don't mind spending a little more, than this is the way to go!

So, you've built some room, and are wondering, Is she a liar? This DEFINITELY isn't the cheapest thing I could've chosen! Don't worry! Here's where you save!

Furniture

The most essential thing of a NeoHome Without furniture, all you have are some cubes smashed together. Anyway, before we began, I want to say the prices in the Shop Wizard have probably changed since I wrote this article. But I hope that they are still close enough. Anyway, while most furniture in the Shop Wizard goes from about 900 NP up to 100,000 (or some of the tiger furniture) Tyrannian furniture goes for about 300 NP a piece. True, it might not be the most comfortable thing in the world, but if you don't have enough NP to buy 7000 NP beds, than this is a VERY good deal. Go check out the Tyrannian furniture shop to see what you want, than go to Shop Wizard, and search for it. Using the Shop Wizard, you can save about 20 NP, or lose 20 NP, but otherwise, the prices are pretty close.

Hope this article helped! Long live Tyrannia! Bye!
