So you just tried to defeat the Snowager, but quickly realised a level 10 Shoyru
didn't really have a chance even with a Grand Lightning Beam. So now it's time
to try and refill your pet's health. Problem is the healing Faerie isn't being
much help. So it's off to Healing potions. Now the trick is where to by them.
At the Healing Springs? At the Magic Shop? Actually the best place is the Shop
Wizard.
The shop wizard can save you money in a couple ways.
1. Everyone wants to make a profit. This is true in just about every case BUT
potions. Neopians seem to cut them down to ridiculous levels because of the
healing spring or the wheel of excitement. So consequently you can heel up to
20 hp for about 200 NP!
2. Don't buy any healing potion over IX. The reason being they aren't worth
it. I found over 200 healing potion IXs for under 100. The Xs went for 300 NP,
which is silly because a IX and a I will run about 200 cheaper than a X potion.
The isn't the best part though. OK say your Shoyru after the healing springs
still needs 15 hp. You could get a healing potion XV for 1200 or a IX and a
VI for 140. It pays to look around on NeoPets, which is what a lot of people
forget. Also this isn't a article to tell shop owners to hike the price, quite
the contrary, keep them low. People know when something is a deal, if for no
other reason this article :).
Now the following are the prices I found the potions going for on Dec. 1st.
I-10 NP
II-15 NP
III-30 NP
IV-35 NP
V-40 NP
VI-50 NP
VII-100NP
VIII-150 NP
IX-90 NP
X-300 NP
XI-2000 NP
XII-2500 NP
XIII-2000 NP
XIV-1000 NP (the cheapest after 10)
XV-1200 NP
XVI-1500 NP
XVII-1500 NP
XVIII-1500 NP
XIX-2000 NP
Now I know this doesn't cover everyone. This is just what I found at the time,
but usually you can allow about 20 NP difference. |
