Hunt For Fire_Faerie_Tears: Part Three

by JadeDragon1984

I have been walking for at least two days. I haven't taken many rests but when I do I usually take out the bottled Faerie and look at it. I really wanted to set it free, it doesn't look happy. But I remembered what Fire said and before I give in to my feelings I place the Faerie safely in my bag. I had a strange feeling I was getting closer to Fire and the overwhelming feeling I was being followed crept up now and then.

"I bet my brother and sister are worried out of their minds about now," I said aloud to myself.

"I wonder where they are," I thought silently.

I heard the faint crack of a dry twig. Who could be out there? And were they friendly? I walked slightly quicker hoping not to hear any other sounds. But there it was again... closer this time. "Where am I going to hide?" I thought panicking. Then I saw a clearing ahead I ran towards it and quickly hid behind a tree. After more than three hours of waiting I went into the clearing and set up camp. I'm sure tomorrow will be my last day of walking. I checked my map and food supplies. I was set for another week if need be.

The next morning I got up earlier than usual and got going. Within a few hours I was at the location Fire and me found last summer. I walked into the cave by the beach. I was a little uneasy so I grabbed a rather large Exploding Snowball (my weapon of choice), and walked further in. I was almost to the small swimming hole in the middle of the cave when I heard a noise coming from another passage in the wall. That passage lead to the place me and Fire called the crystal room. That was her favorite part of the cave. I walked to the end of the passage and looked in I saw Fire and a large figure behind her, before I could even think about throwing my snowball I was knocked out.

"LEAVE HIM ALONE!" was the first thing I heard before feeling a sharp pain in my side. I opened my eyes and shook my head. My eyes were blurry and I felt groggy. Whoever hit me picked me up and propped me against the wall. I looked over to see my sister Fire's eyes filled with tears. I looked at her for a while then looked to see who had hit me. A very large Skeith was holding me against the wall even though I couldn't move he still held me. I looked over to the large figure that was behind my sister... I couldn't believe who it was! Standing right in front of me was BlossumBlizzard the Mutant Techo.

**Mini-Story** BlossumBlizzard and Fire were best friends when we were smaller. But back then she was a regular Techo... she was red like Fire used to be. But when Fire went and got painted along with me, LeeLue, and NenaBlue BlossumBlizzard had found a gotten a great amount of money at the Money Tree and had decided to get a brush the same color as Fire's. I was being painted Shadowed, LeeLue was being painted Cloud, NenaBlue was painted white, and Fire took a while to pick out Stripped... but anyway BlossumBlizzard waited patiently while we got painted and came outside. When we came out she said we all looked great then she said she had bought a potion to make her stripped.

Since we haven't heard of one before we thought she was lying. She promised us that she wasn't and told us to wait for a few. She went running behind a tree and drank her potion. We heard a weird grunting noise and she came out from behind the tree. We all gasped when she came out... BlossumBlizzard was no longer the beautiful red Techo she used to be... she was now the meanest looking Mutant Techo we had ever seen. She asked what was wrong then caught a glimpse of herself in the window of the magic shop and screamed. We told her we would help her save up money to get her back to normal. She stayed with us the rest of the summer. All went good until school started. She was teased and ridiculed for being a Mutant Techo. The teasing got so bad that her owner abandoned her and we later found out after she wasn't at school for a few days that she had run away. She left a note saying that she hated everyone from the school and that she hated Fire the most because she was so beautiful and that she wouldn't be that way for long. She'd make sure of it! **End Mini-Story

"Ahhh... so you're awake..." BlossumBlizzard hissed from the shadows.

"Let go of my sister!" I yelled so loud some of the thin crystals on the ceiling of the cave came crashing down.

"Keep that FOOL quiet! Or would you rather us all die in this pit!" She screamed to the Skeith.

"Please Blossum...don't hurt my brother!" Fire cried out.

"Oh, boo hoo! You'll be getting what you deserve in good time," BlossumBlizzard said with an evil sneer.

She walked over to a small chest and took out a jar. It was the same potion she had drunk so long ago! "Was she going to give my sister that!?" I thought. She was and she loved the frightened looks my sister and me exchanged, as she got closer. She pulled out the cork in the jar, and then as if she heard something she perked up, and set the jar back down on the table.

"What was that noise?" she inquired, "Go see what that noise was!"

"Yes Ma'am..." said the cowering Skeith.

But before he could even turn around a blinding flash of light burst into the room and the familiar smell of freshly cut grass reached my nose. It was NenaBlue and LeeLueNennie! They had thrown a snowball at the Skeith and he was laying on the floor unconscious.

"BLUE!" screamed Fire at the top of her lungs.

"Oh! Fire!" LeeLue said running over and untying her.

"Who has done this to her?" asked NenaBlue helping me up.

"It's BlossumBlizzard she's come back... and she was trying to turn Fire into a Mutant Techo," I said, trying my best to run to Fire.

I hugged Fire for what seemed like hours. When I finally let go, I noticed we were both crying. Just as we all were about to leave (thinking we were all going to go home together) BlossumBlizzard jumped in front of us.

"You're not going anywhere!" bellowed BlossumBlizzard.

"Well whose going to stop us?" NenaBlue growled.

"I am!" yelled BlossumBlizzard.

She pulled something out of her cloak and threw it at us. There was a loud bang, then we were all thrown into the wall. Then I remembered the Exploding Snowball that had rolled under the rock next to me. If I could reach it without her seeing me, I could throw it at her. I saw NenaBlue get up and run at BlossumBlizzard. "That'll keep her busy!" I thought. I got up a limped over to the snowball. I called to NenaBlue who looked over and jumped back to where he had fallen. I quickly grabbed the ball and threw it at BlossumBlizzard. She screamed loudly and fell to the floor. I made sure everyone was OK then got rope out of my bag and tied BlossumBlizzard up. When she came to she sat there staring at us pathetically.

"What are we going to do with her?" LeeLue asked.

"I think we should bring her to the police," said NenaBlue.

"No, I've got something fore her," said Fire silently.

She put out her hand to me I knew what she wanted. I pulled the Fire Faerie out of my bag and handed it to her. She walked over to BlossumBlizzard and opened the jar. A bright Faerie came out of the jar and hovered in the air.

"Thank you for releasing me. I will now grant you an ability," the Fire Faerie said.

"Please, if I could ask for another favor... would you please turn my friend BlossumBlizzard back into a red Techo?" Fire said in her best voice.

"You do know I can only do one thing for you don't you?" The Fire Faerie said with her eyes glowing bright.

"Yes but if you please it would make me much happier to see BlossumBlizzard back to her old self" Fire said bowing.

"Don't waste a Faerie on me Fire I don't deserve it," said BlossumBlizzard sadly.

"Nonsense... you were and are still my best friend," said Fire sweetly.

With these words the cave glowed with bright red light in seconds the light and the Faerie were gone. As we all shook the light from our eyes we heard a sigh of relief and a delightful laugh. We looked up to see the old but just as beautiful as always BlossumBlizzard. She hugged us all one by one and said she was sorry for what she has done.

We took her back to our house and told my Momma the whole story. She was so happy that as she called us her babies Fire_Faerie_Tears, Blazimus, LeeLueNennie, and NenaBlue were back for good. And she was also so happy that BlossumBlizzard was back that she bought her a necklace like the ones she gave us and bought her a Stripped Paintbrush so she could look like Fire... that was what she wanted all along.

BlossumBlizzard visits us almost everyday and has found a new family. All I have to say is I'm happy I have my sister back.
