Hunt For Fire_Faerie_Tears: Part One

by JadeDragon1984

I opened my eyes and threw back my blankets. It wasn't very nice outside... in fact it was raining hard and the rumble of distant thunder could be heard. The first thing I noticed when I got out of bed was my sister was missing. I walked out over to the other bed and woke up my older brother and then went down stairs.

"What did you wake me up for?" asked my brother joining me on the stairs.

"Do you know where Fire went?" I asked, "She's not in her bed and neither is LeeLue."

"Oh you know those two, they are probably already down stairs playing," NenaBlue said sleepily.

We walked quietly down the rest of the stairs. When I got into the kitchen I saw my mom sitting at the table with her head in her hands. LeeLue was sitting at the table she had been crying and she clutched her blanket in one hand and her Wadjet in the other.

"Whatsa matter momma?" I said, hoping to get a quick answer.

"Fire is gone... LeeLue heard noises last night and just thought it was the storm but it must have been some one in the house... she had heard Fire going downstairs earlier to get a drink," my mother said quietly.

"Well, what are you doing just sitting around?" yelled NenaBlue loudly.

"Blue don't yell at momma she already called everyone she could think of... the Chia police, family, friends, everyone..." LeeLue said between sniffles.

"I didn't yell at her! I'm sorry momma..." said NenaBlue.

"It's OK, Blue... I know you didn't mean it," said my mother.

I walked over to my mother and hugged her. I was scared, Fire was born only a day after me, I was closer to her then I was to my other sister and brother. I already missed her and I was starting to feel tears forming in my eyes. Then it hit me I was the only one that could find her! Since we were babies we always could sense how each other felt and where each other were. It really bothered NenaBlue and LeeLue because Fire and me would help each other in games and always win. I walked into the living room and to the closet to find my bag. I packed my money, food, healing potions, and other essential things like my pet Spyder. I walked into the kitchen and cleared my throat.

"Mom... I'm gonna go find Fire... I'm leaving now," I said while I tried to fight back the butterfly feeling in my stomach.

"Blazimus... you can't go anywhere you're too young... you'll get hurt... I can't let you go... I wont let you go," she said with determination.

"Mom... I think Blazimus is right. We should all go an find her. You can come too momma... you can," NenaBlue said almost pleadingly.

"I can't go... I have to wait here for the police to call... I can't let you go... please don't go," she said.

She was crying again... I couldn't help but think that she had thought it was all her fault. I wanted to tell her it wasn't but I didn't know how to put it. I walked over to her and told her that I had to go even though she didn't want me to go I had to. I finally talked her into letting NenaBlue and me to go when my sister walked in.

"I'm coming with you," she said while she shoved food into her bag and grabbed her Wadjet.

"OK so your all going... please stay in touch with me... I'm going to give you all the Neopoints I've saved for you... go to the closet upstairs and take all the battle equipment you can carry... be careful," my mother said along with a few quick sobs.

I said good-bye to my mother and gave her a hug and a kiss my bother and sister did the same. Before I left I grabbed Fire's bag and her Airax and packed some things for her. My mother called us each into the living room and gave us each a necklace with a glimmering stone in it. She told us that the stone would protect us. When I put mine on it started glowing, they were all glowing... except Fire's I put it in my bag and headed towards the door. I missed Fire... I was going to find her... if it's the last thing I did.
