Dr. Raamuli: Eyrie Expert by blueberry13579 | |
Hello everyone! My name is Dr. Raamuli, but you may call me Raamuli! You probably
don't know who I am but I will tell as I continue with my story, well it isn't
really a story but you'll get what I mean.
Firstly, I'm a White Kougra, young, but still very smart. Of all NeoPets I
have come to conclusion that the Eyrie is one of the most spectacular creatures
of all! An "Eyrie" has a relation to the "Griffin" of the real world, by the
"real" world I mean that outside of Neopia.
The definition of a "Griffin" (griff'en) A mythical creature with the head,
wings, and forelegs of an eagle, and the body, hind legs, and tail of a lion.
Also spelt gryphon or griffon. As you can tell, the characteristics of the Griffin
are relative to that of an Eyrie.
And why is it called an Eyrie? Definition of "Eyrie" (er'e) the nest of an
eagle or other bird of prey high on a mountain or cliff. "Eerie" (er'e) Causing
fear; strange; weird. Those are the definitions to Eyrie. The first one pertains
to a nest of some sort, which does relate to the Eyrie, as they live in high
places like mountains and cliffs. The second is which I think it is named after,
but spelt in the way of the first definition. Though the Eyrie does not cause
fear, it is strange and weird, no offence to all the Eyries out there!
Being a Kougra I don't have any enemies, nor do I pray on any NeoPets such
as the Lupe hunt the Chias, but that is a totally different subject. As far
as I believe, the Eyrie is neither the hunter or the hunted, though this theory
is not totally true. The Eyrie is a meat eater, as you can tell from it's sharp
beak. But what does the Eyrie eat? Well that I don't know, but they do prefer
meat, unless you can train yours to be a vegetarian, which if you decide to
do I wish you luck! Being part bird, the Eyrie is most likely to eat small critters,
such as PetPets. My conclusion is that it would prefer a Babaa or possibly a
Peadackle. Though I don't like to talk about it with my assistant, Reemus, who
happens to be a Babaa. "Baaaaa!" Ahem, yes, the Eyrie which was in my Lab attempted
to eat Reemus, but I didn't let it, that is how I proved my theory. Reemus has
been avoiding any Eyries which enter this Lab, he usually hides under the table.
Eyries tend to be very calm creatures unless they are upset by someone or
something. They are very territorial and will protect their families at all
costs. Though you have little chance of running into one since they usually
live in the Mountains. But if you do go on a peaceful hike, beware, if you do
come across any stray feathers, turn around!! That is a sign that Eyries have
made their homes nearby!
From what I understand and know from studying the NeoPets popularity is that
the Eyrie is not the most popular creature ever. Most people underestimate these
mythical creatures as being vicious and evil, while they are a truly gentle
species. They are stereotyped just like the Skeiths, but I don't know much about
Skeiths so forget about that. Though my family is made up of three Kougras,
my Mom has given it much thought as to getting an Eyrie, mostly for me to study
it. But it will be a great friend and family member. I would love to see how
an Eyrie really acts and see if my theories are true or false. My two sisters
dislike the idea of having a two hundred pound creature living in our home,
but they just don't understand the lengths of science! Well that is all the
information I have for you now. Though I will soon be encountering the likes
of these wonderful creatures very soon and hope to document all of it! |
