Deracko and Chakeebo of the Time Twisters had big bags
under their eyes. It was night and they were trying to fall asleep. Millyum
and Yoigo were talking late into the night.
"Why won't they be quiet..." mumbled Chakeebo.
The past few nights those two had been staying up late. It was because Yoigo
was the newest member of the Time Twisters and Millyum was just filling him in on some
of their adventures.
"So Chakeebo wrecked the machinery inside of
the Grundo Spider's cave. He froze time, and we managed to escape. I remember
the day after that...it was horrible. You end up losing a lot of sleep when
you have this job," said Millyum. Yoigo laughed.
"I know what you mean. I haven't had too many
adventures by myself. I can't wait until we get started, it'll be so much fun!"
said Yoigo. Then the Official Usuki Clock started ringing. Millyum looked at
it and was surprised it was already midnight.
"Time sure does fly when you're having a good
time," said Millyum.
"You bet. See you tomorrow," said Yoigo. Millyum
started going upstairs as Yoigo headed down the hallway. He heard the last part
of Chakeebo and Deracko's conversation.
"Let her talk with him. It doesn't matter. He's
just a useless pretty-boy. We'll see how cool he acts when there's danger,"
said Chakeebo.
"Yeah...shhh, I think they're done talking,"
said Deracko. Yoigo just stood there shocked.
Is this what they think of me, just a useless
pretty-boy? He thought to himself. He slowly walked into his bedroom and shut
the door behind him.

Yoigo walked into the kitchen the next day. When he saw Deracko and Chakeebo,
anger surged through him.
"Good morning," said Chakeebo. Yoigo ignored
him. Millyum walked in and switched on the TV.
"Good morning, this is Neil Kauvato, reporting
for NTV. Last night the rare and elusive Cybunny Sapphire was stolen from the
Neopian Museum. Officials are puzzled on how the thief managed to sneak past
the security. The Neopian Museum is one of the most highly guarded places in
Neopia. We will give you more details about the Cybunny Sapphire after these
messages--" Millyum switched off the TV.
"Yoigo, your wish came true. It's time to have
a little...adventure," she said. Millyum raced out the door followed by Chakeebo
and Deracko. Yoigo stayed back for a couple of seconds but reluctantly followed
too.

Some Police Chias were whispering to each other outside of the Neopian Museum.
The Museum hadn't closed, but the viewing room where the Cybunny Sapphire was,
was closed. But of course, that was no problem for the Time Twisters. Millyum
walked up to the group of Police Chias.
"Excuse me? I was wondering if you could tell
me about the crime. Like who did it and what time," said Millyum as sweetly
as she could. One of the Police Chias walked up.
"I was there. My name is Officer MacKichan. I
was patrolling and out of nowhere this thief stole the Cybunny Sapphire! He
moved as fast as the wind, but much quieter. Our security tapes show us it's
a Meerca dressed in all black," said the officer.
"Could you tell me what time it was?" asked Millyum
again, just as sweetly.
"No problem. It was about just before midnight,
about half past eleven," said Officer MacKichan.
"Thanks!" said Millyum as she walked back to
Yoigo, Deracko and Chakeebo. "It was about 11:30 p.m. NST. That's twelve hours
ago!" said Millyum. The group walked into the museum and looked for a good place
to hide. Right by the blocked off area where the Cybunny Sapphire was, was the
Gormball section. They saw a statue of Thyassa the Purple Chia and hid behind
it. Yoigo, Deracko and Chakeebo placed their hands (or paw) on Millyum's delicate
wings. She brought her ring close to her mouth and spoke into it.
"Rewind twelve hours."
The gang was floating in a dimension of darkness.
In what felt like no time at all, the gang was back in the museum...just twelve
hours before. It was all dark. They looked over and saw a Meerca dressed in
black approach the Cybunny Sapphire.
"No!" the all whispered. Chakeebo had ran out
of cover. A loud whistle blew and Chakeebo stood still. Officer MacKichan ran
over and grabbed Chakeebo. Unfortunately, he didn't notice the masked Meerca.
"Think you can get away with robbery? Think again,"
said the Police Chia. Everyone else was panicky.
"Millyum, you and Deracko go and save the Cybunny
Sapphire. I'll save Chakeebo," said Yoigo. Deracko nodded and he ran off with
Millyum. Yoigo looked over and saw Chakeebo struggling to get his ring closer
to his mouth so he could use it. Officer MacKichan was just too strong. Yoigo
had to distract the officer. He looked around and saw an antique Gormball on
a small display table. Yoigo looked around for something to throw at it. He
finally grabbed his jade ring off of his finger and threw it at the Gormball.
The Gormball started to roll off of the table. Officer MacKichan saw it and
dropped Chakeebo to save it. He dived and grabbed it at the same time.
"Whoa! That was close," he said. Yoigo ran over
to Chakeebo. He grabbed his hand and pulled him off of the ground.
"Freeze time!" whispered Yoigo. Chakeebo nodded
and brought his silver ring close to his mouth.
"Pause!"
Yoigo was still grabbing onto Chakeebo's hand
so he didn't freeze. Yoigo picked his ring up off of the ground.
"Unpause!"
Yoigo pointed his ring at his mouth.
"Erase!"
He then pointed the ring at Officer MacKichan.
He started moving backwards until he was casually patrolling the museum.
"Let's get Millyum and Deracko and get out of
here," said Yoigo. Chakeebo agreed.

The gang walked back into the NeoHome. Deracko and Millyum had stopped the
Meerca thief.
"Thanks again Yoigo, I really owe you one," said
Chakeebo.
"It's no problem. Not too bad for a 'useless
pretty-boy', huh?" said Yoigo smiling.
"Oops...sorry," said Chakeebo.
"Yeah," said Deracko.
"You didn't!" exclaimed Millyum.
"It's OK Millyum," said Yoigo. Sometimes they
may be annoying, but he was sure he could get use to being a Time Twister. And
if he could do that, he could do anything.
