Read this story
from the beginning!
Skinner and Killer got closer and closer to MoonLight.
She tensed her muscles and then…"Haste!" she yelled and speeded up towards
Killer. WHAM! She knocked right into one of Killer's arms.
"ROAR!" yelled Killer and whacked her with one paw, sending her flying.
Moonlight landed in a heap. Sheik helped her up. "Don't fight them," he said
urgently. "You'll just get beat up!"
"No way," Moonlight said angrily. "These bullies... I'll show them who's the fat
pony!"
Sheik backed away from the angry Uni. "Go get 'em," he said.
"Do you give up?" Jon taunted.
"BURROW!" Moonlight said. All of a sudden, she went underground. Killer and
Skinner looked around, confused. Then, POP, behind them, up came Moonlight
"Killer!" yelled Jon.
"Skinner!" yelled Marv. But it was too late.
"Smoke screen!" yelled Moonlight Smoke filled the air. Sheik squinted, trying
to see what was happening. And then, "Magic Pebbles!" pebbles flew through the
air, stinging Skinner and Killer.
"Oh, yeah!" yelled Jon. "Killer, use your Song of the Volcano!"
Killer opened his mouth, but before he could utter a sound, Moonlight had
used her Water Jet, right in his mouth. Wasting no time, Moonlight flew into
the air, folded her wings and dived straight at Skinner. Then she used a Psychic
Blast. Before she had a chance to try anything else, Killer and Skinner, flew
away.
"Do you give up?" she yelled to Jon and Marv, grinning. But Jon and Marv weren't
there. They were running straight for their houses! Moonlight grinned. "Typical
bullies," she said.
Sheik just stood there with his mouth hanging open. "And you said that your
family thought you were a failure!" he squeaked. "That was amazing!"
Moonlight blushed. "You really think so?"
"Yeah," Sheik said. "I wonder…maybe you should try out the Battledome."

Over the next couple of months, Moonlight became a Battledome champ. Sheik
became her personal trainer. After one of her latest wins, Moonlight decided
to live with Sheik. One particular day, Moonlight and Sheik were celebrating
her latest win.
"It's weird how we just happened to be at the right place at the right time,"
Moonlight said.
"Yeah," Sheik agreed. "If I hadn't found you, I might have been working in
some dead-end job and you would never have found out how good you are in the
Battledome."
"Someone should write about our story. Don't you think it would be good?"
"I guess," said Sheik. "Well, come on, let's go get ready for tomorrow."
