HIDDEN TOWER - Recently a new Hidden Tower item has been added. It is called
the Chia Flour. Many are ranting about its power. The Chia Flour is a one-time
use item which, when used on an opponent, turns them into a Yellow Chia!
If you remember an article
about the Eraser of the Dark Faerie, well, this is the same thing; only
it's about Chia Flour
The main complaint by most Neopians is that, "We spend so much on our Neopets
getting them painted, morphed, etc." Well, in my opinion, it's a good idea to
have the Chia Flour.
My justification you ask? The 750 Krawk owners are 90% of the time, rich and
snotty. The go out and they act like they are the best. Then, they go into the
Battledome, still cocky of course, and then they fight a level one Lenny with
four Max. Hit Points. They get good weapons and plan to annihilate the Lenny.
All of a sudden--BOOM! The Lenny uses Chia Flour and the precious Krawk is now
a Yellow Chia! The worst part is that they can't change it back!
Now you ask, why is that good? Well, I see it as getting rid the smug Neopians.
It seriously annoys me when people act like their better than because they have
a Fire Tonu or whatever. Well, they fight me and I use Chia Flour and it's "goodbye
Mr. I'm-so-much-better-than-you-because-I-got-a-Krawk-or-a-Tonu."
Now don't get me wrong... if someone pulled a Chia Flour on my Shadow Aisha,
EvilProsperity, I would be more upset than a pack of rabid dogs (although it
is a good way for revenge on someone).
Now there are folks who praise those who are getting it retired, like myself.
I see a smart investment in this. You buy the Flour for 195,000 NP, if this
works out like the Eraser--it will retire within a week. Once retired, the item's
value skyrockets. Personally, I believe that by the end of the month Chia Flour
will be at a minimum of 350,000.
I hope you all look at this and realise two things:
1. Don't put your prized pet out into the Battledome unless you are
OK with the risk of it becoming a Chia.
2. Maybe forking over 195,000 may be a good investment. |
