Kass, Are You There? It’s Me, Sunny: Part Four

by shoyrumastertrainer

The Powers…

Where we last left off, Sunny left the house to fulfill the dream she had saw. She ran away from home, yet again, to try to find the Citadel of Darkness which she had to find with Hubert the Hotdog Maker's directions. She went off to Meridell and upon arriving there she couldn't believe what she saw…

"What's going on here?" I questioned as I look upon Meridell. Meridell and Darigan were fighting! I grabbed a thin black blanket quickly to hide my Darigan colors as I moved through the war to the citadel. Looking up at it now I saw how large it was and began climbing a ladder to get up there.

I arrived inside the castle with the cloak still on; I ran through the hall leading to one great room. Minions and Kass all looked at me as I pulled off my hood, seeing me as a fellow Darigan. Kass gasped at me and approached me quietly. "Sacred Aisha; we finally meet!" he announced, his deep voice echoing through the room. The minions stood as he led me to a tall table that reminded me of a judge's table in a court. The court dancer approached me with her outfit following.

"Follow me darling," she said in a misty voice.

"I'm a girl; I find no interest in you," I replied, turning my head. She stared at me in awe as I left my head turned.

She twisted her hair, then let go of it to let in remain in a tight spiral curl. "Well then…" she said, sounding very depressed. I stood up and dashed out of the room as quickly as possible, but a pair of Darigan Grundos held out a sword to prevent me from leaving. I looked around for somewhere to go, but they all denied me access. I turned around and ran for the way I came in, but then Kass bent down with a disapproving look, and put his hand on my forehead. I ran as quickly as possible, still not budging.

"So, you think you can run from here?" he questioned, looking into my eyes. He snatched up a Whoot, tied a letter to his legs, and sent him out a tiny window. A Whoot came back, seconds later, with a pink letter tied to its leg. It fluttered onto Lord Kass' arms, and bolted back out of the tiny window; its wings got stuck on the window as it bolted out of the room.

"Your mom wants you back home," he announced. The others giggled as he grabbed my arm and dragged me out of the room in awe.

"My-my-my MOM!" I screamed, trying to run in the opposite direction of Kass. He led me outside the large castle doors, with my mom, Fire and Fuzzy standing below the steps. They were unusually dressed, they actually looked… Nice. Beth was in a black dress, her brown hair was swept behind her back and she had tons of makeup on. She managed to walk up in her high-heels, with Fire in a black suit and Fuzzy in a pink frilly dress.

Beth had a pair of thin glasses on as she approached me, a small purse in her hand as she swept her waist length hair behind her shoulder. "Thank you, Kass, you have been quite a help," she announced, handing him a large amount of Neopoints. "That is around 2.5 million," Beth announced, grabbing my wrist like Kass had. She brought me in the place I currently dreaded the most: My house.

     **********

Beth sat me down in the living room across from herself, looking even more feminine then she usually did. Fuzzy took out a new Usuki doll, even though she usually played with a plushie. Fire scratched his chin, then stood on his head and peaked over the chair. He cracked his knuckles as ran up the stairs to his room. Beth left the room and motioned me to follow her. I had never been where my mom was directing me to: Her room.

I walked inside the dimly lit room, now my mom walking over to a bookshelf and grabbing a book that was almost the size of three of my heads. She managed to lift it into a room adjacent from her bathroom. I walked into the pitch-black room, scared with my fur now prickling. I stumbled over into a chair; my owner being intelligent and lighting the room by snapping her fingers. The torches lit on fire, crackling as she paged through the book. "I guess I am going to have to push my thumb a little harder on you kids," Beth announced, still looking through the book.

"What do ya mean?" I questioned, shuffling in my chair. She marked her page with a bookmark as she stood up, glaring at me. I tightened my grip on the chair, afraid of what she was going to do. "Number one: You are grounded for a month and a half. Number two: You will wear a uniform to school. Number three: I will paint you back to your yellow color. Number four: You will have to keep a log of this book that you will be reading. Number five: From the times of 7:30 Pm until 7:00 am in the morning, you will be barred in your room. I will install those later. Number six, Oink will not be in your room for 3 weeks. And finally, Number seven, you are on PERMANENT lock-down for one and a half weeks. Read more on this piece of paper," she said, handing me a large book and piece of paper.

I walked out of Beth's room and into mine, to find another pile of furniture in my room. I began organizing it, also finding an extension to my room. I walked into it, finding a large, empty blue room with few windows and was… secluded. Amazingly, I now had my own section of a house; a hall, office, bathroom and bedroom.

I walked around it, and sat on my bed, saddened by my second grounding. I sat up and ignored the bars on my windows. I knew I had a dream and I wouldn't let it go. I felt anger rising within myself, my body becoming warm. I knew I couldn't be Beth's pet, not after what I had seen. I looked at the door and imagined it to float away. It toppled over, making a way for me to walk. I walked down the steps and shot my arm out. I didn't hit anything, but the wall began shaking.

Telekinetic powers… I thought to myself, imagining the possibilities of what I could do. I stopped on the platform between the stairs and I walked over to my mom's room.

Beth had her hair in a tight bun and was reading a book. "Sunny, what are you doing? Don't make me give you another week of grounding," she announced, closing her book and rolling up her covers.

"Oh, Beth, don't you be smart to me like that," I said, my eyes growing redder.

"Sunny! How dare you say that to me?" she screamed, hopping out of her bed. She approached me, fists clenched as she grabbed my shoulders.

"I wouldn't do that," I said, beaming broadly.

I lifted my paw and made her fly into a wall, knocking down her paintings. She sat dumbfounded, clutching the floor as she dashed towards me. I pushed her back with an invisible barrier as she fell on the ground. I walked over to her and glared her in her half open eye.

"Why are you doing this?" she moaned, managing to seize onto the bed.

"Why am I doing this? It's simple. I'm leaving because I had a dream, and I'm not going to let it go to Krulador," I announced, twiddling my fingers. She managed to get onto the bed, when just then I knew someone was watching.

"Twerps, go build a mountain of plushies NOW!" I shouted; they shuddered behind me and scampered off. Beth looked at me with sorrowful eyes, and amazingly I noticed something… different. Her eyes were multicolored, one was dark purple, and the other was as black as the midnight sky without a moon in Tyrannia. I knew it; I had seen her in my dream. She was standing behind the doorway in the hall. I suddenly dashed out of the room as she howled in pain.

I ran outside to see Ally crying on my curb. I walked over to her and turned her around with my finger. She floated above ground and I couldn't tell what her deal was. I strode past her towards Meridell, but she got up quickly and followed.

"Where are you going?" she sobbed, whipping a slimy tear off her face. I knew she would be a disturbance to me.

"It's none of your Buzz's wax," I said as I began sprinting as quickly as possible to Meridell.

She obviously had stopped following me, considering I couldn't hear a slither along the grass anymore. I stopped in front of the citadel and went up the cold stone steps. I walked into the large door to see Kass in front of me. He pushed his hair back as I stepped forward. "Great to see you again Sunny."
