NeoPets seem to stay pretty healthy if you feed them the right foods, like
broccoli and cabbage... don't you think so? You may agree, but have you ever
noticed how MUCH a NeoPet eats? For instance my NeoPet CheerfulStar eats in
a normal meal about six to eight courses (In a normal meal I mean from when
he is hungry to bloated).
First off I like to start with appetisers, as most people do. So I usually
feed him a faerie fruit salad. Next comes some kind of hunger quencher until
the rest of the food is prepared the normal would be French baguette. Everybody
needs something to drink so I give him a neocola or apple juice.
Now comes the first main meal (yes, there's actually two main meals!!) It differs
a lot but I like to serve him something like barbecue wings or chicken tenders,
along with that comes so onion rings or fries. Now the second main meal tones
it down a bit and is healthier. The usual is sushi rolls with a side order of
baby tomatoes and mushrooms. Next comes CheerfulStar's favourite part, as is
all Neopian's favourite part of the meal! Dessert!
Now this has A LOT of varieties because CheerfulStar LOVES desserts! But something
sweet is ALWAYS in order! He likes to start of with something rich and then
go to something subtler. So first comes maybe a piece of chocolate covered peanut
butter and then perhaps a blueberry faerie bubble! Last comes a Thornberry Java
with Cream to wash it all down! That's eight courses!!! Sometimes he will eat
a little less or a little more.
But that's not the only thing I have to say! Along with eating eight courses,
the helpings of the food NeoPets eat are TREMENDOUS! Most of the foods have
a serving size of 1-3 POUNDS, and also the greedy Skeiths in Neopia will eat
petpets or even dubloons!!! These items (at least to Skeiths) have the weight
of 1-5 pounds!
So let's say that my NeoPet CheerfulStar was to eat a seven course meal where
five of the dishes were 1 pound and the other two were 2 pounds. That means
that my NeoPet eats 9 POUNDS of food for ONE meal! Now multiply 9x3 and you
get 27 pounds of food eaten by one NeoPet every day! Now multiply 27x4 (I have
4 NeoPets) and you get 108 POUNDS of food eaten in ONE day by FOUR NeoPets!!!!
Now let's times 27x7= 189 POUNDS of food eaten by FOUR NeoPets in ONE WEEK!!!!!
Multiple 189 by 4 and you get 756 POUNDS of food eaten by FOUR NeoPets in ONE
MONTH! Now for the last multiplication problem of the day 756x12 equals the
grand total of... 9072 POUNDS of food eaten by FOUR NeoPets in ONE YEAR!
In conclusion I am TOTALLY surprised that there isn't world hunger in Neopia!
