| TERROR MOUNTAIN- Have you seen them? They're everywhere! In shops, in games, even
in caves! I am talking about the mysterious items called neggs. Where can you
find them? What is their significance? Do you eat them or are there baby pets
inside? Well, you're about to find out. Read on to unravel the mysteries of those
mind-bending items we call neggs.
Neggs. What are they?
Neggs can vary from food, to eggs, and even to landmines. One of my favorite
breakfast foods is a good sweet and sour negg in the kitchen of my NeoHome.
But when my day gets started, I see people gambling on hatchlings at Grarrl
Keno, and people scrambling for omelettes (no pun intended) at the Giant
Omlette. Later I enjoy a good game of Neggsweeper
to clean up the landmines put under the battlefield in the Meridell - Darigan
War, making Neopia a safer place for everyone.
Why are neggs so important?
One day I was walking (or slipping) through the ice caves. Suddenly I saw
a bush with a giant water droplet on it. I came closer and realized that it
was a Negg! 'A negg?' I thought. 'They don't grow on bushes! Do they?' This
experience opened my eyes to a whole world of wonder. I looked back over my
shoulder and saw a sign, 'NEGGERY'.
"Hmmm… What could that be?" I headed towards it and inside I saw racks upon
racks of neggs going high above my head.
"Hello" said a soft voice. I turned and saw a Faerie clad in green. " I am
the Negg Faerie. I see you have brought me an ice negg.''
She then told me that I can find various neggs all around Neopia. When I found
one, I could give it to her for negg Tokens, with which I could then buy better
negg to help my pets. So I thought, 'they only are important if you want to
make your pet stronger, prettier, smarter, etc. Hmm... Well, I sure do.' So
I traded in my ice negg for two negg tokens.
The positive things about Negg-a-tivity:
Well, I hope you gathered from the story that the purpose of neggs is to help
your pet. There are many neggs, and many effects. Will I tell you? I'd love

Knick-knack patti-wack lets go steal some neggs!
One thing I have noticed is that there is a subtle negg craze sweeping Neopia.
Here are the facts:
First, the Snowager. Well, let's take a peek into his 'oh so scary lair'.
Hmmm…. A big cave, a giant blue striped monster, a massive pile of treasure
made of neggs, a --- wait! That's right. Go take a look here.
Notice his treasure pile. You can distinctly see genius negg, Kaleideonegg,
ice storm negg, in fact, the whole pile is neggs! I guess that's why they all
cost a lot, huh? He is forcing them into rarity!
Next stop, Meerca
Chase. On the page that opens the game, look at that Meerca. It's so greedy
that its tongue is waving. Look how fast he runs on hard mode to get his precious
neggs. I think that guy is in cahoots with the Snowager! And where did he get
those cool green and blue Neggs? Did that greedy Meerca steal a whole species
of neggs?!
Am I missing something here?
Okay, now lets do a lookup on neggs… Automatically there's some 20 Neggs that
pop up ( I am not counting the food ones and the Negg Faerie card, etc.). I
haven't seen or heard of half those! Makes you wonder. Maybe its just
me, but that evil Meerca…
The name game.
One last thing. There is a whole company in the stock market with initials
NEGG. Neggwork Commerce. Look at their profile. Get a name like that and you're
bound to succeed:
You name it Neggwork Commerce have sold it at one time or another. Now
aimed at top quality e-business solutions they intend to build up a strong presence
on the Internet community. Slogan - We are the Profit Producers.
Can we see that again? We are the profit producers. What is
this? Some magic Negg company? I don't think so. I looked up 'Negg' in guild
names and the most I saw was four members to a guild.
Anyway, I hope I have pointed out the 'black market' of neggs. So kids, keep
it safe, and always buy from the Negg Faerie.
