Previously, on Doomsday Rider II, our heroes defeated Spectre, and Toro
with little difficulty, although, their next opponent is much more difficult
to defeat than our heroes thought.
I flew back and landed next to Tical and Boomdogg. "You know, Rider, Skull
Ptero can be defeated, what you have to do is get somebody to distract him,
jump on the back of his neck, and pull out his collar bone, and then he'll be
defeated," Tical said.
"That's it?" I asked. I didn't expect it to be that easy to defeat Skull Ptero.
"Well, Boomdogg, you distract him," I said.
"WHAT?! No way!" Boomdogg said. "I should be the one to defeat Skull Ptero,
I can last longer than you can!"
"Okay, fine, but if you get destroyed, I'm not going to be held responsible,"
I said, preparing to taunt Skull Ptero. I clenched my Million Degree Sword very
tightly, preparing for an almost invincible beast to come charging at me, but
he didn't, so I took another slash, but, once again, not even a scratch. But
then, out of nowhere, he head-butted me back into the rock wall, and I passed
out...again.
"Skull, I'm going to rip you in half and sell your claws!" Boomdogg shouted,
charging at Skull Ptero. But when Boomdogg tried to ram Skull Ptero, he merely
slapped him into the rock wall he head-butted me into. Anubis shape-shifted
into a replica of Skull Ptero, and fought him head on. Although, Anubis could
also shape-shift into a stronger version of Skull Ptero, but for some reason,
didn't.
Anubis kept pushing Skull Ptero back toward the ocean, and just at the shoreline,
Skull Ptero began to fight back, he punched, kicked, and head-butted Anubis.
Both me, and Boomdogg were still unconscious, and we could both still hear the
fight.
"Skull Ptero, I'm not going to let you win!" Anubis said, pushing Skull Ptero
as hard as he could. I could tell that Anubis was losing strength, though.
"You fool," Skull Ptero replied. "Do you really think you can defeat me?"
Anubis smirked. "Of course I can." Skull Ptero was apparently getting paranoid,
and let go of Anubis to try and destroy him. But before he could, Anubis rammed
Skull Ptero over the ocean, and the fight became an aerial battle. Anubis and
Skull Ptero were throwing numerous punches at each other, and this is when I
got up. While Skull Ptero and Anubis were beating the marrow out of each other,
I flew up behind Skull Ptero, and ripped his collar bone out of place, his skull
fell off, and the rest of his body followed into the ocean.
I sheathed my Million Degree Sword in midair, and me and Anubis flew back to
land. Anubis shape-shifted back into a Lupe, and we tried to wake up Boomdogg.

Inside Zing-Lau's ship...
* * *
"No! They defeated Skull Ptero!" Mechanicore shouted.
"What?! Impossible!" Zing-Lau shouted, racing over to the monitor. "He really
is defeated. They are much stronger than I'd anticipated. Perhaps I haven't
been using the correct strategy. Perhaps MY NeoPets would be a better attack
plan," Zing-Lau said, followed by an evil smirk. "Yes, release Chupacabras!
Mutate him into his second stage! He can't do any damage to those NeoPets in
his first stage."
Mechanicore opened a room, and a blue Lupe stepped out and onto a light blue
platform. Mechanicore typed a few buttons, and Chupacabras began changing into
a hideous beast. He had spikes jutting out of his back, long fangs over his
mouth, long claws, and a razor sharp tail.
"What is my mission, master?" Chupacabras said, bowing.
The evil Zing-Lau smirked. "Destroy the NeoPets that defeated Skull Ptero,"
he said. "And awaken The Unborn Beast while you're at it."
"Yes, master" Chupacabras said, bowing again.

Back on Mystery Island...
* * *
"Arrgh!" I said, splashing the ocean water onto my face. "What was that?" I
stood up, and my eyes darted all across the field.
"Relax," Boomdogg said, drinking a Pale Elixir. "Hey, this stuff is pretty
good, you should try it some time, Rider," he said, taking another swig.
"Oh, please," I said, rolling my eyes. "There it was again." My eyes darted
all around again, and this time, I saw a black spike poke out of the bushes
for just a second. I unsheathed my sword, and prepared for a huge battle. "Come
out, whoever you are!" I said, clenching my Million Degree Sword even tighter.
The thing leaped out and started slashing at me, I managed to block a few, but
this thing's strength was far beyond even Boomdogg, and so he obviously was
more than a match for us. I thrust my Million Degree Sword at his chest, and
he was out of there before I even got near him!
Boomdogg sat up, and put his hands together, and charged up a small ball of
energy.
"Flash!" he shouted, and the ball grew to an intense brightness, and Chupacabras
was blinded, and his stats were lowered slightly, but at least I could hit him.
I thrust my Million Degree Sword at him again, he almost got away, but I managed
to scrape him on the hip.
"You little..." he began, and rolled into a ball, and started spinning rapidly,
and then he charged at me. I jumped up and started flying so I'd be out of his
reach, boy was I wrong. The armour on his back split open, and two gossamer
wings jutted out, and he began to fly, too!
"Oh great," I said, trying to sway back and forth, this had become an aerial
battle. "Boomdogg, a little Flash would be useful if it's not too much trouble!"
"Oh! Right," Boomdogg said, charging up a Flash, he unleashed it, and I took
the shot I had against Chupacabras, and cut off one of his wings.
"Ah!" He said, starting to lose altitude, although, one side could still fly,
but just barely, and he somehow managed to come back up to my altitude, and
began the fight again. I slashed off Chupacabras' other wing, and he fell to
the ground like a rock. Anubis shot Chupacabras with his Bow and Arrow, and
it pierced through the armour on his back, and left him with a strength level
of about 7, and with about 2 HP left. Boomdogg picked up Chupacabras by his
armour.
"All right, Chupacabras, I know Zing-Lau sent you, so why don't you spill it?
Where is Zing-Lau hiding?" Boomdogg asked, clenching Chupacabras' throat.
"He's hiding on Terror Mountain, and you'll never survive the battles there,"
Chupacabras said, pushing Boomdogg back, and then self-destructing.

At Terror Mountain...
* * *
We snuck into Zing-Lau's ship, and entered a giant arena, where a mutant Techo
was waiting for us.
"I am The Unborn Beast," said the Techo. "And you will not advance to the
next challenger." We all looked around, the ring was surrounded by lava!
"I'm up first," I said, stepping into the ring.
"You won't make it through this fight," the Unborn Beast said, smirking nonchalantly.
He began to charge at me, and lunged his tail forward, the fool basically sealed
his own fate. I grabbed his tail, swung him around, and threw him out of the
ring, and he skimmed the lava, and landed with a thud in a cavern that lead
toward the main chamber of the ship. He ran up the cavern, and Mechanicore came
floating down from the ceiling.
"So, you defeated The Unborn Beast, eh? You will not pass this next fight,
Doomsday_Rider," Mechanicore said. He threw a fireball at me, and I rolled out
of the way as fast as I could, but he still clipped me. I started to fly to
try and gain an advantage. He started floating, and it became another aerial
battle. I took a slash at Mechanicore, but he blocked it with his arm plate.
We were both pushing toward each other as hard as we could, but I managed to
land a punch on Mechanicore's face to break the struggle.
We both reeled back, and we were both breathing heavily. Mechanicore began
to charge some energy, and unleashed a massive Thunder Blast. I dropped a little
bit, and watched the Thunder Blast zap the wall. I flew up behind Mechanicore,
and slashed his back a couple of times. He surrounded himself with an Energy
Shield, and tried to ram me with it, I hammered him with my Million Degree Sword,
and he rocketed to the ground, and then, his Energy Shield shattered. He was
laying on the floor, apparently k.o.'d, no, I wasn't THAT lucky. Mechanicore
stood up, grabbed my Million Degree Sword by the blade, and threw me back toward
Boomdogg, Anubis, and Midnight.
"I'm up," said Anubis, shape-shifting into a copy of Mechanicore. "It's show
time!"

Inside Zing-Lau's main chamber...
* * *
Zing-Lau walked up to the tank containing ShenDogg. "Yes, only a few more minutes
until you're ready," Zing-Lau said, glaring into the tank. He walked over to
the window that looked to the arena and saw Anubis and Mechanicore fighting.
"ShenDogg will be more than a match for them," he said, smirking evilly. "I
expect the fight between you and Boomdogg to be a hyper one."
"Yes, it will," ShenDogg said, opening his eyes.
"Ah, yes, you're ready," Zing-Lau said, pressing a button on the tank that
opened up the chamber and let out ShenDogg. "Okay, listen, ShenDogg. When Mechanicore
loses, you go out and battle the shape-shifter, understand?"
"Yes, I understand, sire," ShenDogg said calmly.

Back in the arena...
* * *
Mechanicore was against the ropes. Anubis was hammering Mechanicore wildly.
Anubis uppercut Mechanicore, and then Double-Axe Handled him in midair, then,
to finish the fight, head-butted him back to the cavern where he lay unconscious
"Score!" Anubis shouted, jumping up and down. A Lupe exactly like Boomdogg
then jumped out of Zing-Lau's chamber.
"I am ShenDogg," the Lupe said. "I suggest you retreat, Anubis."
"Me? Retreat? What are you, a rookie?" Anubis asked.
ShenDogg rammed Anubis back toward us, and he hit me in the head. Boomdogg
then jumped into the ring...
