Doomsday Rider II: Part Four by yugo149 | |
Previously, On Doomsday Rider II, our heroes have entered Zing-Lau's base,
and they have already defeated their first two opponents, The Unborn Beast,
and Mechanicore, although, the worst and most powerful opponents have yet to
come.
Boomdogg was a fierce fighter, but not as fierce as ShenDogg. "Boomdogg, watch
out, he's three times as strong as you!" I shouted to him.
"What?! Strength level 63?!" Boomdogg shouted in shocked reply. Boomdogg was
really going to have to concentrate for this battle. For his first attack, he
used a Flash, and then charged, and head-butted ShenDogg, and reduced his strength
level to about 47. Needless to say, his cockiness was cut in half. They went
into a pure energy battle, launching ability after ability at each other, and
eventually, Boomdogg lost that part of the battle, and he was forced to take
a few steps back.
"That guy hits hard," Anubis said, watching the fight.
"I know what you mean, Anubis," Midnight said.
"Boomdogg hasn't even started to fight full force yet," I said. "He's only
using strength level 8."
"What?!" Midnight asked in surprise.
"Rider's right," Anubis said. "Boomdogg's full strength level is 21, and he's
not even using strength level 10."
"Oh," Midnight said, looking back toward the ring. Boomdogg was gathering some
more strength points, probably to finish off ShenDogg, because he was laying
on the ground, clenching his shoulder, and his strength level was reduced to
9.
Boomdogg was moving in toward ShenDogg, charging up a Spark. He picked ShenDogg
up by the throat, and began preparing to shoot ShenDogg across the arena. Electricity
from the Spark was zapping everywhere, and then ShenDogg was launched across
the arena, and hit the cavern, reducing all of his stats to 1.

"What?! ShenDogg is defeated?! How can this be?" Zing-Lau asked, shocked. "Well,
I suppose I'd better unleash Vipor," he said, placing the Citrinestone
on the final generator power column. He took a few steps back. "Et tuk de Ra
ple oru cou ye wu ent de Vipor," he chanted, and the generator began to glow
pure white, and a portal appeared on the back wall, and a giant viper emerged.
"Vipor, I want you to destroy those four NeoPets down there, understand?" Zing-Lau
ordered. Vipor only nodded, and then headed down the cavern.

Back in the arena...

Tical came into the arena behind us. "Hi everybody," she said. I wheeled around.
"Hi Tical." I replied. "Boomdogg just defeated ShenDogg."
"Well, it looks like the next opponent is coming down the cavern," Tical said,
pointing to the cavern. "Oh no! It's Vipor!"
"What?!" I shouted jumping and wheeling around. "Boomdogg, watch out, Vipor's
going to fight you next!"
"Holy--" Boomdogg was cut off by a loud, high-pitched screech. Then, a giant
viper lunged into the ring. "What are his stats?!" Boomdogg shouted.
"Strength is 243, Defence is 52, Agility is 61, and Endurance is 500," Tical
shouted.
"Tical, you stay here," I said, jumping into the ring.
"Midnight, I don't want you to get hurt, so please stay here," Anubis said.
"Okay, I'll stay here," Midnight said, and Anubis jumped into the ring
and ran up beside me.
"This is going to take everything we've got," I said. I pulled out a
Burn-Out, a rare weapon in Neopia. I pressed a small button on it and threw
it at Vipor. When it landed in front of him, a flame emerged, and the more I
span my Million Degree Sword, the more the flame grew. Eventually, it's max
damage was 500%, or 200 damage. Vipor's head reeled back, and returned to it's
standard position. He attacked as rapidly as he could, which, with agility level
61 compared to my agility level 8, was faster than a bolt of lightning. I had
no chance of escaping the attack. When I stepped back a little, I looked at
my shoulder, it had four puncture marks, one for each of Vipor's teeth.
I threw my last Burnout, which I only had two, and spun my Million Degree
Sword, it was a fourth slower than before, so the damage amount was only 375%.
Or 150 damage if you don't know the standard damage. At that point, I just began
slashing wildly at Vipor, and landed about half of the slashes, which considering
his defence, didn't do much. All Vipor did was slam me with his forehead, and
I shot across the ring, and lay unconscious.
Boomdogg was hammering Vipor as hard as he could, and his attacks were lowering
Vipor's Endurance dramatically. First, 73, then 68, then 41, and another shot
made it 24.
"You're finally cut down to our size," Boomdogg said, charging at Vipor and
slamming him with incredible fore, he shot out of the ring, and sank in the
lava.

Inside the main chamber...

"I can't believe they beat Vipor!" Zing-Lau said, clenching his teeth, and
his fists. He began running down the cavern toward the ring.
***
Back in the arena...
***
Why is Zing-Lau taking so long to send our next opponent?" Boomdogg
asked. It was about this time that I regained consciousness. Zing-Lau came running
out of the cavern and jumped into the ring. I picked up my Million Degree Sword
and joined the others. Zing-Lau was standing at the back of the ring. I charged
at him, and slashed up his armour with my Million Degree Sword, taking his Endurance
from 700 to about 609. I began slashing simply wildly at Zing-Lau, and his endurance
dropped from 609 to about 518, and then down to 427, and then even further down
to 336. I sliced off his mask, and began slashing at his face, his weakest spot,
and his Endurance dropped to 245.
"You fool!" Zing-Lau shouted, and then kicked me across the arena, into the
wall, where I ricocheted off, and landed on my head just a few feet from Zing-Lau.
Needless to say, his strength was at least twice Vipor's. My eyes drained of
colour, and I was almost completely destroyed, but Anubis shape-shifted into
a copy of Zing-Lau, and they began to fight. I couldn't see the fight, though,
because I was face down on the cold, stone floor of the ring. Apparently, Tical
flew up to me with a Pale Elixir.
"Rider, get up," she said, shaking me, I couldn't speak, I was beaten
too badly to even move on my own. She rolled me over, uncorked the bottle, and
poured the Elixir into my mouth, and got me to swallow it, somehow. I jumped
up and looked over at Anubis and Zing-Lau who were knocking each other senseless.
In a few seconds, they went into a grapple, and they were pushing each other
toward the lava.
Boomdogg began to launch an almost endless Spark at Zing-Lau, which he was
too busy grappling with Anubis to block anything. I ran up and hit Zing-Lau
in the back with my Million Degree Sword. Anubis managed to topple Zing-Lau,
and began to shape-shift into his most dangerous form, the form his brother
had always used in a fight, the Chupacabras beast. Anubis couldn't talk in this
form, so he had to use sign language to communicate. He rolled into a ball,
and slammed some of the spikes on his back into Zing-Lau's head, and the shot
cut his Endurance down to 63. Anubis rammed Zing-Lau full force, and he rocketed
into the lava, rocketed back into the ring, and I slashed him as hard as I could,
and he broke through the roof, and as far as we know, he didn't come down.
"Score!" We all shouted in unison...
Epilogue:
I became a famous Million Degree Sword Fighter. It gets hot in those rings.
***
Boomdogg started drinking more Pale Elixir. "Why don't we celebrate?" Boomdogg
asked.
"You already suggested that," I said, smiling. Pale Elixir affects the memory.
***
Toro started fighting for the side of good.
"Toro, I said come here!" Zing-Lau shouted. Toro only roared.
***
Chao and Evanda had a son. "Eeeeeeeeeee!" Kentan shouted as he rocketed toward
the ceiling.
"Kentan, I told you to stop doing that!" Chao shouted.

An archaeologist found Skull Ptero and put him in the museum of Natural Neopian
History. Not that there's much of it.
***
Me and Princess Tical started dating. I don't think I want to show you people
this part. Fast forward!
***
Anubis became an Alpha Omega Shape-shifter. Alpha Omega is the highest rank
of Shape-shifter.
***
Mechanicore and the rest of the survivors of Zing-Lau's army retreated to Phoenicia,
but they won't get far, I cut the wires.
