It was a rainy day in Neopia Central, all of the scenery
dripping with water if it wasn't holding a gloomy and forlorn touch to its features.
Experanzia, the youthful Lupe, sighed as she pressed her nose against the window
in the living room of her NeoHome.
"It's raining, it's pouring, the old man is
snoring," she sung with boredom, using a forepaw to trace shapes on the surface
of the cloudy window. On the other side of the room, there was a brand new television
which was unusually turned off. "Not even television can cheer me up today."
Experanzia turned around to glance at the TV which was turned on by her, although
she had said she didn't want to watch it. As usual, a commercial was playing,
but this one seemed different then the others... and Experanzia listened to
it with interest.
The announcer smiled widely as he spoke with
enthusiasm on the commercial, lifting up a pillow and placing a tooth underneath
it as he spoke. "Ever lost a tooth? Need money? Just put your tooth under your
pillow, wait 'til morning, and you'll have Neopoints galore! Be sure to thank
the tooth faerie in the morning, and also enjoy your profits!"
"Teeth? Profits?" She asked aloud to no one
in particular, and then, with a wide grin, Experanzia turned off the television,
a bright idea sprouting within her head...

Later that evening, while laying on her bed in her pajamas, Experanzia grasped
a plastic Monoceraptor's tooth within her paws. Will it work? She thought to
herself, buy hey , it wouldn't hurt to try... right? Without hesitation, Experanzia
placed the tooth underneath her pillow and went to sleep unusually early that
night to see if the Tooth
Faerie would arrive.
"Is she sleeping?" The minuscule faerie
whispered while standing on the bed stand next to the sleeping Experanzia's
bed, and after a few minutes of observing, she slowly and quietly flew over
toward her pillow. The tooth detector 2002 that was within her purse had detected
a tooth underneath this very pillow, and the Tooth Faerie was here it collect
it and give the Lupe atop the pillow their reward. Now that she was sure Experanzia
was asleep, the Tooth Faerie set to work. She used her hands to lift up the
pillow, and then grasped the tooth within her hands, smiling proudly. "This
is a big one," She said while examining it, "May the owner be proud and enjoy
their Neopoints" Reaching into her pocket, the Tooth Faerie withdrew 1,000 Neopoints
and placed them neatly in a pile underneath the pillow, flying, flying away
afterwards.
With a yawn the following morning, Experanzia
sat up, thinking only one thing - "Did it work?" Excitedly, she squealed and
lifted up her pillow. Underneath it, the 1,000 Neopoints were still neatly arranged.
Experanzia yipped with glee, running her paws through the heap of richness (in
her view) and then looked around her room, another idea sprouting within her
head. Darting out of room, the golden pup began to think to herself, "How can
I get more teeth? I haven't any more fake teeth... and none of mine are loose... wait
a minute! Maybe I could fight and then get teeth from it and -cha-CHING!- I'll
be rich!" With yet another wide, devious grin, Experanzia ran out of her room.

Sometime that evening, Experanzia was sitting upon her bed with a small pile
of teeth beside her. "Man, fighting that pant Devil sure was rewarding." This
declaration was followed by a cackle, an almost evil one at that, and the the
bloody teeth were shoved underneath her pillow, Experanzia's head falling atop
it and falling asleep in almost an instant.
That night, the Tooth Faerie was seen
underneath Experanzia's pillow once more, placing each of the teeth in her magical
bag and converting the teeth into Neopoints; 40,000 for their wondrous size.
With a happy grin, the Faerie flew off and continued on her night's work...
Sleeping without any interruption that night,
Experanzia awoke in the morning with a widened yawn and the stretch of her limbs.
"I wonder if..." She began to say, and then scrambled back to her bed to find
40k in pure Neopoints in the case of her pillow. "Wow! I can't believe it worked!"
Experanzia giggled with happiness, and greediness, and then picked up her Attack
Fork from the side of her bed. "The Pant Devil will be getting a nice little
visit today, so watch out!" And with that, she cackled and ran out of her room.
Sadly, this process continued on for a very,
very long time. Every night Experanzia placed many teeth that didn't belong
to her underneath her pillow. And, every night, the Tooth Faerie would smugly
comes and take those teeth, transform them into Neopoints, and Experanzia would
awaken to retrieve teeth from fighting the Pant Devil. Weeks passed, and the
Neopoints Experanzia earned could now not be hidden underneath her bed as they
usually had been. Even her Attack Fork, which had been used lots of times, hadn't
been working as efficiently due to the overuse of it. Although she didn't notice,
the Pant Devil had complained to the other Battledome challengers; The Chia
Clown, the Ghost Lupe, and Edna about being beat up just so his teeth would
fall out, and then be taken.
Weeks later, on another rainy afternoon, Experanzia
was in her room, in a corner, counting the Neopoints one by one.
"Only three million Neopoints?!? What?!" She
growled, and kicked over a pile of points so they fell on the floor. "This bites.
I should at -least- be a billionaire by now! I need a new plan, maybe I should..."
This sentence was not able to be completed to an unexpected visitor, wait, was
it four visitors? Yes, four unexpected visitors at her bedroom door. The Pant
Devil, Edna, the Ghost Lupe, and the Chia Clown were all standing there, looking
around the room quite angrily.
"So, this is what you've been doing with those
teeth, eh? And you think you're going to get away with it?" Edna asked, her
hardened gaze upon the now trembling Experanzia. Shaking her head as if disgusted,
Edna stepped closer toward Experanzia with her black skirt brushing against
the floor, her three friends, The Pant Devil, the Ghost Lupe, and the Chia Clown
following loyally behind her. "What should we do with her, you guys? She needs
to be taught a lesson."
"No! I've learned my lesson, I promise I won't
do it again!" Experanzia pleaded, almost on the merge of tears from fright.
"Oh, we'll be sure that you've learned your
lesson," Edna continued on, a grin creeping along her face, "How's about a taste
of your own medicine, hm?" Before Experanzia could wail a reply, Edna's massive
green fist came flying toward her and -WHAM!- right in her mouth.

So, that's how Experanzia wound up here in the local dentist's office. Her
mouth was removed, well, all of her teeth were removed, and she had no choice
but to tell her owner, crazycaroline, about what happened. Ah, here's Doctor
Cavity right now, returning with Experanzia and several bandages wrapped her
jaw. Well, you can tell she learned her lesson - no more tricking the Tooth
Faerie for her.
As for the Tooth Faerie, Experanzia was punished
and therefore wrote a letter to her, explaining the situation. The Tooth Faerie
was furious when she'd found out, but didn't ask for any of her Neopoints back.
The reader might saw, "Aww, what a nice Faerie!" but her niceness is not the
case. All of the Neopoints had to be used for Experanzia's dentist bill.
