Coltzan's Shrine: Is Timing Everything? by neosizedpain | |
Many people wonder if there is a specific time to make there pet stronger?
Or to make it faster, smarter, get its levels up, or raise its defence? Maybe
you want to gain NP, slowly and surely. Maybe you want to guarantee you will
find a faerie or a Dubloon. Or maybe you just have your eyes on the one million
Neopoint prize.
Well, I don't know about you, but I use Coltzan's Shrine everyday. I usually
hope to get my pets stats up, so they can be better Battledomers. But I've always
had the want inside me to get one million Neopoints. Sure, I already do have
one million, but I could always use a little more pocket money. Last week, I
checked out the editorial where somebody asked if the shrine gave out one million
at 3:00 am. The person who replied to that, said there is no specific time to
get it. You just have to be really lucky. But if you read the end, it would
tell you that timing does work for other things.
I don't know, but I think the prizes either have to do with what second it
is, or what minute. Or maybe there is some pattern like: one second after the
minute-Lost Desert Food, two seconds after the minute-faerie, three seconds
after the minute-feel slightly richer, four seconds after the minute-you find
a shiny Dubloon in the sand, five seconds after the minute-Lost desert food,
etc.
My opinion is that you shouldn't spend your whole time on NeoPets, hoping
to get 1 million. It's hard, but one day we all quit NeoPets. It makes me feel
sad that that time could be anywhere from now till I'm sixty. By then I would
probably have at least 20 million! My point is the shrine isn't the most efficient
gold mine around.
Well sometimes the shrine can give you good things, like faeries, Dubloons,
raise your pet's stats, or simply give you 200 NP. But sometimes it can give
you really daft things like, 'You hear a horrifying scream, and then it stops'
(I can't remember exactly, so I'm doing my best), 'A chill wind picks up, then
It dies down', 'Nothing happens', 'The sand beneath your feet feels slightly
warmer than usual', and 'Your hands glow green for second, then stop'. My pets
aren't really satisfied with that, but they have a good laugh.
Sometimes getting food can help, IF your pet is really hungry. Even still,
only one piece of food doesn't help. At certain times though, you may be granted
with a special Battledome item from Coltzan. These can often help, if you are
short on NP and can't afford to buy the stronger items that only last once.
These items that I have received are 'Serf Lens', which looks like a handheld
mirror that deflects some damage off all attacks, and 'Coltzan's Gem', that
can do some damage to the opponent.
I don't have the accurate times to when all of these happen, but if I ever
get them figured out, I will be sure to make another article for you readers.
I hope my guide has helped you in some ways and always remember, "When in doubt,
DON'T look to the Shrine". |
