ENDLESS PLAINS - Yet again, I am so right. I have found the final piece of
evidence that leads to me the discovery of the new world. At the time of writing,
this last Saturday, the newest world is still Krawk Island and some bozo invented
Mighty Asparagus Swords. But a little URL experiments told me what the new world
was, and it is...(This part is ripped of your copy of The Neopian Times).
And if the New World was released between now and the time of publishing,
that means I'm currently trying to dig for buried treasure in unexplored lands.
And with the way my week's been going, I'll probably hit a evil Lupe that shall
kill us all.
But anyway, back to the point. Whenever a new world is discovered (or opened,
like the Faerieland Theme Park) one or more of three things happen.
· You have to pay a price to enter. This is normally for a limited time, to
hold off the crowds. Mystery Island, Ice Caves, and Faerieland all had a price
to enter at one point.
· Doctor Sloth or some other giant fiend cooks up one of his half-baked schemes.
This happened to VirtuPets Space Station, Maraqua (Before and After) Lost Desert,
All Three Parts (Now Two) of Tyrannia, Terror Mountain (Ski Lodge), and Krawk
Island.
· Nothing at all. This happened to: Spooky Woods and Happy Valley. Big whoop.
Because of lack of updates and e-x-t-r-e-m-e-l-y-l-o-n-g-w-a-i-t-i-n-g times,
it will probably be that some fiend comes to destroy the new world. But I'll
get to that later. What are we going to do when the new world comes out? Sit
back and watch the new features pop up like crazy? No way!
New World = Bonus $$$
Why are we so able to get so rich off of new worlds? It is normally a chain
reaction starting with NEW ITEMS! The first items we will see are probably Food
and Petpets. Petpets are normally more expensive, so hang around there if you
have the extra dough. If you have a 56k or lower modem like I do, the new items
should be showcased at the Mystery Pic Competition. The cool thing about these
new items is that they sell for about 95,000 NP a pop when they are about 2
hours new. After that, they go down the price chain like nuts.
Some more items may come after that, like Battle Supplies, Books, and Furniture.
Same rule applies here. Another series of New Item probably won't be in a new
shop, but in an old shop. I hope to see collectable cards of the New World,
because that would work with my Neodeck nicely. (That is... if you speak Itatlian...
you have to see my Neodeck Name to understand.)
Next on the list is New Games. With noone having a Hi-Score, it is a lot easier
to get a trophy and the 750 NP bonus. I expect more Action games from this world
then previous worlds, so how fast your computer is may make a difference. If
the games like Meerca Chase, computers as slow as a legless Jubjub work better.
If they are like Mummy Maze fast computers like a supersonic Poogle are a whole
lot better.
What to do about evil maniacs
You can't get rid of them, you can't hide from them, and you can't run from
them. No, not homework, evil maniacs who try and take over new worlds. The last
two times this happened, Tyrannia and the Lost Desert, we got to play in the
one-player battledome against the fiends and got cash for the more we destroyed.
Oh, and a shiny trophy. (In the first one, Mystery Island/Space Station, we
gave up useless codestones to the Island Mystic and adopted Grundos. In the
second, Maraqua, we did nothing at all.)
The Other Evil Maniacs
Okay, if you've been around long enough, you recall NPv2, the evil computer-chip
that tried to make friends with 4 Neopets and nearly killed them. With those
type of evil maniacs, we have to decode source codes and observe pictures carefully.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, just wait.
Number Six and Mr. Roboto return
In Week 45's editorial, they mentioned thinking of having the Neopet Staff's
Big-Headed Versions coming back and compete in an all out match. (Most likely
in the new world) This is where we get to guess who is the final victor and
we get paid if we get it right, we get rare items and payment. Oh, and if we
get to choose who gets to be the next loser, don't choose Number Six!
New Pet and Paint Brush
Every world either has it's Paint Brush or it's own pet. (Except for Tyrannia,
where they have the Chomby, Pteri, Tonu, and Tyrannian Paint Brush; and just
recently Krawk Island) The new world will probably have either a horse-pet like
an Uni, but it will be like Flotsams and Jetsams, the Uni being the Flotsam.
My other guess is a scaled pet, but we already saw something like that. It will
also probably have a paint brush. (Note to Neopets Artists: Draw a Gelert, Koi,
or Krawk first!)
Lupes
I think Lupes should be expelled from this new world. They stink like old cheese
and mess up the entire place.
Currency
Frankly, Krawk Island and the entire Dubloon thing was more of a change then
an addition. I hope we don't have to see a exclusive currency in the new world.
Quests
I really hope they get a new quest released in this new world. And if they
don't yet, pretty please Neopets, pretty please! Oh please oh please oh please!
Language
I hope they speak English, or else I'll start saying seven languages until
next time instead of six like I end all of my articles. But whatever they do...
bye in Six/Seven Different Lanugages until Next Time! |
