The Noodles and the NeoHome Gardens

by yaboofernoodle

NeoHome Gardens? After handling robot clones, NeoHome Gardens are supposed to pose a THREAT? Well, those White Lulus and Tactis in your backyard may not be as innocent as you think. You see, it goes deeper than that... much, much deeper...

"Mum! Mum! Our garden won't save! I think we have too many plants," KN shouted, running into the house.

"So, what's for supper?" I looked at her and the other three empty pet seats. "Where are your brothers?" I asked.

"I was going to tell you AFTER you told me what supper was…" she winked.

I sighed and said, "Juppie Supreme and Tigersquash Pie. Now, where are they?" KN looked out the window and whispered. "They're lost out... there." She pointed to the garden. "They were helping me, and then disappeared! Can we go look for them?" I dropped the Tigersquash Pie and ran outside.

KN and I hastily looked around for them. "They went over there!" she said.

I glanced at the Dwarf Tree she was pointing to. KN walked over and stood by the tree. "Oh, honey, that's nothing but a mere--" I was cut off by a large *SHWOOSH*. The tree opened up and inhaled KN. "AAIIEEE!" we both screamed. I ran to the tree to save her, but it only swallowed me, too.

"Where... are we?" I feebly asked.

"I think we're in the tree," KN replied, getting up and wandering around the giant wood chamber we were in. I got up and followed her.

"Look at all the tunnels, Mum!"

We were surrounded by tons of tunnels and holes. I puzzled it out and told KN "If this is a tree, then those tunnels must be hollow branches!" I stepped forward to examine them, when I heard a small *clink* under my foot. I looked down and picked up something small. "Firey_Sac's sunglasses!" I said, looking at the pair of sunglasses in my hand. I looked back up and crawled into the hole right in front of me.

A Few Hours Later...

"Boy, this sure is a long branch in this tree," KN wheezed.

It seemed like we had been crawling through that hole forever, when we saw something gleaming up ahead. "Look!" I said. KN crawled past me quickly and picked up the shining object.

"It's Bhuhbuh's amulet!" she yelled back as she threw me the amulet. We kept crawling through the branch hole until it gradually got bigger, and we could walk. We came into a little area that must have been the end of the branch. "What's THAT?!" KN shouted.

Ahead of us was a large... erm... thing. It LOOKED like a giant caterpillar, but we couldn't be sure. We walked closer to it.

"Um... what is your name?" KN asked feebly.

It looked down at her with evil glowing eyes. "BURP."

KN looked at it quizzically. "Your name is burp?"

Of course it wasn't, it only burped. It was strange though, because some strange material flew out of its mouth as it burped, and I picked it up when it landed. Hmm, scaly... I pulled out a magnifying glass to look closer. As KN tried to converse with the creature, I examined the material. What I discovered made me drop and shatter the magnifying glass.

"KN, get away from it!" I shouted. She ran back to me and I showed her the material. "Number Nimmo's... wings," I whispered.

"GYAAAAAAA!" we yelled our battle cry as we dashed toward the caterpillar-ish thing. It tightened into a ball and rolled towards us. "WHOA!" we yelled in retreat. As we ran, I dropped my sword on the ground. I turned back around to grab the sword, but it was too late. The monster rolled over the sword and, to my surprise, the sword got stuck into its body, destroying it. I hurried to the creature and yanked out my sword to make sure it was finished. I slashed it into pieces and before I could do anything, KN flew up from behind me and dove in. "No, KN!" I said, grabbing at her tail. I caught it and pulled. And pulled. And pulled. And pulled! I pulled on her tail until she came back out. Clinging to her, however, were three familiar figures... Firey_Sac, Bhuhbuh, and Number Nimmo.

The Next Day...

"I'm baaaaack!" Number Nimmo said, bursting through the NeoHome door. He had just returned from getting his wings surgically sewn back on, a fairly painful process. He sat beside me and yawned. "If you don't mind, I think I'll just take... a... nap... *SNORE*" Firey_Sac and Bhuhbuh were already asleep. I can't blame them, the tree pollen made us all sleepy. I had to stay awake, though, and wait for KN.

Five minutes later, she walked in through the back door. "OK, I finally destroyed that stupid tree. It was probably just the monster inside, you know." She yawned at sat on my lap. "Good night, Mum," she said, even though it was two in the afternoon. I giggled.

"Good night, sweetie." I smiled and went to sleep.

The End

Author's Note: So, so, soooooooooo sorry everyone! I have been greatly delayed in my story writing. There may not be many stories for a while, for two reasons. 1) I'm in the middle of moving. 2) School, school, school! Stupid exams. Oh well, only two weeks left until I get out of school, and then you can have Noodles stories every week!
