The Scoop on Skeiths by scarfdance | |
I'm writing this article just to get something straight. Skeiths are not all
that bad! I've read a few articles about Skeiths in the Neopian times, and I
was a little sad, because people were constantly complaining about how their
Skeith has eaten them out of house and home. Skeiths are wonderful pets, and
I'd just like to share a few points about Skeiths and how you can use them to
your advantage if you own, or are thinking about getting a Skeith. Here goes:
1) Many people complain that their Skeiths eat too much. Well, not that they
eat too much, but that they eat EVERYTHING! Yeah, even faeries! You constantly
hear about "My Skeith ate my codestone!" or "My Skeith ate my rare item that
I paid a bazillion Neopoints for!". There is an easy solution to keeping your
Skeith from eating your precious items when it gets hungry: the safety deposit
box. If you have anything of value, just pop it in there and your Skeith can't
get at it. There is a plus side to your Skeith being able to eat anything. If
you get a Tombola ticket that's not a winner, and you happen to get a bottle
of sand, or something like that, you can use it as inexpensive food. This kind
of thing can be a big money saver. It's a big advantage of owning a Skeith
2) Skeiths are the "rough and tough" type. They like spooky PetPets and macho
Battledome items. It probably wouldn't be a good idea to get your Skeith a Floud
for a pet, because they're more likely to bond to something like a Sugarrush
or Baby Fireball. True, some Skeiths might enjoy a Faerie PetPet, but most would
prefer something tougher. Skeiths also like hard-hitting Battledome items. Something
like the Sword of Domar would be an ideal weapon for a Skeith
3) Skeiths need lots of meat and vegetables to grow strong and maintain healthy
bones. They love beefy broccoli and hot Borovan. Feed them lots of hearty, healthy
food and they're sure to look great and love you for it.
4) Most importantly, Skeiths are a lot of fun. Despite their mean-looking expression,
Skeiths are sweet, and funny. We (Errnando, and his owner scarfdance) have lots
of fun playing Poker or making bets on who can fit the most Ummagine slices
in their mouth. Needless to say, Errnando always wins that kind of thing. If
you're looking for a pet that's not too sissy, not too mean, and just great
to have around, I highly recommend adopting a Skeith from the pound, or creating
one. You won't be disappointed! |
