Earn Thousands a Day from Grundo's Gym by imi138 | |
Grundo's Gym is one of the most neglected games on NeoPets. Whenever people
talk about money making games, they always mention Kiko Match and Meerca Chase,
but hardly ever Grundo's
Gym. However, I make more from Grundo's Gym than any other game in Neopia.
How it works
There are 5 levels in Grundo's Gym, with 5 exercises at each level. Every time
you pass level 5, you will receive a lifetime membership card, and your active
pet’s agility will rise. For every lifetime membership card you have earned,
you will receive 1000 NP for each level you complete. Notice that I say “earn”
and not “own”. This is because if you sell your membership card, you will still
receive the 1000 NP that it brings because you have earned it. On the other
hand, if you buy a membership card from someone else, you do not get 1000 NP
extra just by owning the card because you have not earned it yet, baby!
Income
The reason people don’t like Grundo's Gym is probably because the money is really
slow at the beginning: When you have no membership cards, you only get about
20 NP for each level you complete. But once you pass level 5 once, you will get
1000 NP every time you pass a level. If you pass level 5 ten times, you will
get 10,000 NP every time you pass a level. So if you play Grundo's Gym every day,
this is what your income from it will look like:
Day 1 Passed Level 1 – earned 20 NP
Day 2 Passed Level 2 – earned 20 NP
Day 3 Passed Level 3 – earned 20 NP
Day 4 Passed Level 4 – earned 20 NP
Day 5 Passed Level 5 – earned 20 NP, Earned a membership card, Active pet’s
agility rises
Day 6 Passed Level 1 – earned 1000 NP
Day 7 Passed Level 2 – earned 1000 NP... and so on!
By the time you get to Day 61 (after 2 months of playing), you would be earning
12000 NP every day. You are only allowed to complete one level of Grundo's Gym
every 24 hours.
Completing the levels
“WOW ! That’s a lot of NP”, you say, “But how do I pass a level?” Well, you
pass a level after you complete the five exercises. Each exercise lasts for
30 seconds. You do an exercise by moving the mouse back and forth over the button
in the middle, and at the end of the 30 seconds, if the button is green you
have completed an exercise. If the button is blue, it means you have been moving
the mouse too slowly, and if the button is red, it means you have been moving
the mouse too fast. There are two kinds of red buttons, the first one will change
back to a blue or a green if you slow down the mouse, but the second one will
stay on red, and the description will say “Off to the juice bar with you”.
When you get this one, you will have to start the exercise all over again.
As your levels progress, the timing should be more spot on as the defined line
between red, blue and green becomes smaller.
Tips for doing the exercises
· I always tend to start of with the hardest training first, as I leave the
easiest until last. This way, if I gave up, I wouldn't have wasted my time on
the others.
· If you can, adjust the acceleration on your mouse as high as you can
· Below is a strategy I use to pass level 5. It helps to avoid “Off to the
juice bar with you”:
1. For the first 5 seconds, move the mouse REALLY slowly.
2. For the next 5 seconds, move the mouse a bit quicker than before (the button
should still stay blue).
3. When there are 20 seconds left, move the mouse as fast as you can until the
button becomes either green or red.
4. Whichever colour it becomes, slow down the mouse to a reasonable pace immediately,
and try to keep the button on green until the end of the exercise. |
