With help from hippiesoul, the one who has the dreaded H Curse and the Typo
Demons, too.

I've met quite a few people: sarakrindel, wubba_flub_the_alian, chimesjon, scriptfox
and Tdyans. I have also met other people trying to work their way into the Neopian
Times, too. I have only gotten one, but that might soon change.
I have also met one person in particular, who also has a case of Typo Demons
that appears every so often. That person is Hippiesoul. Almost every other time
she posts, a word is often misspelled. She always has to excuse herself for
it; the case of the Typo Demons isn't harmful, but it isn't harmless either.
So, I tried to find a way to get over them - I sometimes get a few sparks
of it also. This article is a way to try and get over them, not actually getting
over them, but almost for some people.
Step 1 - See if you have a Case of Typo Demons
The easiest way I found of seeing how you get Typo Demons is typing something
long. If you type at the Chat Boards often, you might find that if you try and
spell correctly that you have a glitch or two in between the sentences. Or,
if you use those codes as in 'u' and 'r', try to see if you can actually type
something without a hitch. Another way to find out is typing something at the
guild message boards. It is very easy to find if you have a few sparks of Typo
Demons.
Step 2 - Type or Write a Story
Say, if you were to type an article or story for The Neopian Times, see if
you misspell anything. Try to finish all of it without making sure you typed
it right. If you have Typo Demons, you can fix the misspelled words after you
finish. Before you fix the words, make a list of how many words you misspelled
in tallies. See how many you misspell, or have someone read it and edit it.
You can find out how many if you have Microsoft Word, which I have, and it underlines
words that are misspelled in red, and grammar problems underlined in green.
I believe that it is on every computer, so you just need to find it if you do.
Step 3 - Try to Prefect Your Work
Keep writing different stories and using different words. If so, you might
get rid of your Typo Demons. If not, keep trying to see if you'll finally get
rid of them. You eventually will! And if you don't, keep trying, it'll pay off.

HS - Yup, that's me, the Typo Demons favourite victim...
LDF - Why do you think that, Hippie? You don't get Typos all the time.
HS - Yes, I do get typos all the time, it's just that now I take the
time to go back and correct them...^_^ But I still miss some. Remember the H
Curse? I never knew anyone cursed with that, either.
LDF - What exactly is the H Curse?
HS - The H Curse is a very special and annoying spell the Typo Demons
decided to cast on me. It puts typos in all words I type that have an 'h', switching
the h with the following letter. (i.e. if I was to type 'the', it would come
out 'teh'. If it were 'that', it would come out 'taht'.)
LDF - When did you first find out that you had the dreaded H Curse
and Typo Demons?
HS - I usually read my posts on the guild board after I post them,
and I started to notice I always wrote words with h wrong. That's when I realised
something was wrong. Then, knowing about the Typo Demons, it was easy to find
out what they had done to me.
LDF - Do you think that they only do it to you?
HS - I've never seen anyone cursed like me, but you never know.
LDF - Do you have any advice to anyone who has Typo Demons or the H
Curse?
HS - They should definitely try to please them! Even with no typos,
you should make daily sacrifices of junk to the Demons. When you're cursed,
just do a specific sacrifice. In my case, I did a sacrifice with over 24 items
with the 'h' letter in their names.
LDF - Do you have any advice for people who don't have items with 'h'
in their names?
HS - If they're under the H Curse, they should definitely buy them!
If not, just use your Tombola junk to make some sacrifices.
LDF - Do you have any tips for people who can't get rid of them, even
no matter how hard they try to get rid of them?
HS - Well, if you join NTAG that's sure to happen! :P They seem
to like haunting our board a lot... But I don't really know what they could
do. Maybe they're cursed for life.
