GAMES ROOM - We all know that Meerca Chase was addicting, and Kiko Match was
stressful, but which game wins the prize for the most FRUSTRATING? Why, that's
a no brainer!
I give you Shapeshifter...
the most frustrating game in the land! You solve a series of complicated puzzles,
only to be stuck on one level for an hour... but wait! You don't even WIN anything!
That's what makes it so great.
Now, I've taken the liberty of interviewing Sinsi, the Ixi in charge of this
*cough* monster *cough* game.
Pvk: Hello there Sinsi. What's it like running the most annoying game
in all of Neopia?
Sinsi: I have to go back soon and feed my Turtum, so please hurry up...
Pvk: Erm.... yeah. Well, anyway... what do YOU think of Neopia's newest
game addition?
Sinsi: The bigger the shape, the easier it is to place!
Pvk: Oh... okay... yeah, whatever. But do you think this game will
be very popular in Neopia in the future?
Sinsi: You think this is hard? Wait till the later levels!
Pvk: Well... interview's over I suppose...
So there you have it! This little Ixi is almost as frustrating as the game
itself! Now, some say that Shapeshifter is actually quite fun. It 'expands the
mind' and 'makes you think' say some... but I say... WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH
YOU PEOPLE? THAT GAME IS FILTHY STINKIN' OBNOXIOUS! Geez, anyone that would
enjoy this game must have been dropped on his or her head as a child...
So anyway, let's get into the actual tactics of the game. You have a table
of little pictures, such as helmets, swords, goblets, gauntlets, and crowns.
Usually you have to get the entire table to show only swords. You take little
pieces and use 'em to switch the pictures around. When all your pieces run out,
if the table is completely showing swords, you go on to the next level. However,
each level requires you to get at least three of the following:
- Practice in saying things like @#&$%!
- A giant headache
- A broken computer (results of mallet attacks)
And all the while you've got this annoying Ixi saying things like: "I'm hungry"
or "It's possible to finish any puzzle!" and then you wonder why HE doesn't
come down and try to help you out. That would wipe the little grin off of his
face.
So, I suggest you DO try Shapeshifter, and feel my pain. What's the worst
that could happen... your brain overheats! Have Ixi for dinner?
Note: Anyone that actually DOES like this game, I'm sorry, but you must be
insane. |
