It was late in Market Square, Neopia Central but not a lot of people in this
Neohome were sleeping. You see the builders were finishing up on Polkadot's
(The skunk lupe detective and scientist) laboratory and Polkadot was furnishing
his new workspace.
"Hmmm... I think the computer looks great here don't you Hunter?" Polkadot
said and he smiled.
"Bark," Hunter the Anubis simply barked.
"Yes, yes I do understand. The art of decorating is a lot more complex and
now that we have a work space we do need space for work. EXCELLENT HUNTER!"
Polkadot announced as he rose a finger in the air.
"Arf yaaaaaawn" Hunter said as he started to fall asleep.
"Hmm... it is late but I need to send this order out to the robot company to
get that new Kiko-Bot!" Polkadot said as he cleaned his glasses.
"Yo, dude! We're finished man!" A small construction worker Aisha said.
"Good. How much do I owe you fine gentlemen?" Polkadot said reaching for his
bag.
"Hmmm. 'Bout 4,000 Neopets bubba," the blue construction Acara said.
"Well, alright," Polkadot said, sighing giving them the Neopoints while they
left.
"Now to get that Kiko-Bot," Polkadot said as he turned on his computer.
The next morning at the breakfast table...
Polkadot walked downstairs wiping the sleep from his eyes and stretching.
"Good morning," Polkadot said pouring himself some wheat flakes. Polkadot had
a lot of sibling. Sevento be exact. They were, Gahagafawga or Gahaga the speckled
male Aisha, Reemer the starry male Shoyru, Anne_Arcky the disco female Kyrii,
_Jamesbo_ the red male Kacheek, Butters_Stoch the blue male Mynci, Bennigans
the white Kougra, and Missy_Behave the purple female usul.... PHEW!!!!
"Mornin'," they all said not paying attention, obviously still sleepy from
the noise last night.
"Hey Polkadot!" Polkadot's owner who had brown braided hair and three earrings,
two on his left and one on his right ear named Axel said flipping a pancake.
"Hi Axel." Polkadot smile taking a slurp from his cereal.
"This package came for you this morning," Axel said picking up a cardboard
box examining it. Polkadot smiled and ran as fast as he could snatching he box
from Axel.
"Hmm, thanks Axel better check this out. Well gotta run by!" Polkadot said
dashing up the stairs.
"Whelp better open this eh' Hunter?" Polkadot said as Hunter was watching.
Polkadot carefully... well not so carefully, shredded the box open like a Scorchio
on Christmas Day. Polkadot pulled out a small green sphere, just a little bigger
then Polkadot's head. It had an antenna, small green arms, big bright blue eyes,
and a small speaker for a mouth.
"Arf! ARF ARF!" Hunter barked as he picked up a small piece of paper that read
instructions with his teeth.
"Thanks, boy!" Polkadot said handing Hunter an Anubis Treat and taking the
instructions.
"Congratulations! You are the lucky owner of The Kiko-Bot model 8888. To awaken
your Kiko-Bot pull the small paper tab out from his back," Polkadot read aloud.
"Here goes nothing." Polkadot smiled and slowly moved his hand toward the tab,
he pulled out the tab. All of the sudden the Kiko-Bot started spinning around
and his eyes started to glow and whistles started to play. Polkadot and Hunter
were backing up really slowly. By now the Kiko-Bot started hovering slightly.
All of the sudden it got really quiet. Polkadot scratched his head and walked
toward the Kiko-Bot.
"HEY! BOOM CHICKA BOOM CHICKA BOOM BOOM BOOM!" Kiko-Bot said with a Cuban accent
and sprung up and started hovering.
"Hey! Who might you be my fine furry friend?" Kiko-Bot said, hovering around
Polkadot's head.
"I am your boss, Polkadot, and over there is my best friend, Hunter," Polkadot
said, pointing at Hunter who was smiling nervously.
"Awww! What a nice puppy!" Kiko-Bot said, petting Anubis on the head.
"Okay, Kiko-Bot let's get some work done," Polkadot said.
"YES SIR! But let's dance first!" Just then a speaker popped out of its head.
Kiko-Bot and Hunter started dancing around Polkadot. Polkadot just sighed and
started to laugh. It is going to be fun around the lab from now on.
