Let's face it, there is no such thing as a bad freebie, but what's the most
likely to brighten your NeoPets' day? Join me on my quest to find out! All places
will be ranked on a scale of 1 - 5 (5 being the highest rated spot). See if
you agree.
Giant Omelette: 5
There is never a bad time to visit the Giant Omelette, unlike some other spots
where you have to go there at a certain time, or try to get their early, the
Giant Omelette always gives you something. Some omelettes are more expensive
than others, so before you let your NeoPet get their paws on it, check the Shop
Wizard to make sure you're not better off selling it. But no matter when you
go, you'll always get a tasty treat for your NeoPet.
Snowager: 2
Depending on what time zone you're in, it might be a little hard to get online
at the right time to catch the Snowager off guard. But, if you can get him at
the right time, you might be able to walk away with something nice. However,
knowing his nap times doesn't always insure success, as anyone who has been
there can tell you. Many times you can still walk away empty handed, or even
worse, growled at! Yikes! But, worth the visit nonetheless.
Coltzan's Shrine: 4
This helpful Shrine only lost a point, because it does not always bless your
pet, but when it does, it is well worth it. To raise your NeoPets a level or
gain strength or speed it could set you back a few thousand Neopoints, but in
one simple trip to the Shrine, there is no telling what you can get! And one
lucky NeoPet can become an instant millionaire each day!
Fruit Machine: 2
Is it just me, or do you always have the worst luck at this thing? Despite the
unlucky numbers I normally come up with, when it does give you an item, it's
normally something my NeoPet won't eat, or isn't too thrilled about. But it
does have its moments. I have gotten a rare fruit on occasion, but don't count
on it.
Tombola: 3
Aside from the occasional shortage of funds (I would encourage donating whenever
possible) you can walk away with some very nice prizes. But it really varies.
For example, I have come away with two faeries, my sister won a doosie once
when she got nearly 200,000 NP in items and Neopoints! Some people have all
the luck. On the other hand, you can get an item worth 1 or 2 Neopoints... or nothing at all! But, in general, it's well worth your time.
Healing Springs: 4
Very rarely will the Healing Faerie not heal your pet to some degree, and after
a long day at the Battledome the Healing Springs can be a welcoming relief,
especially helpful after a long day at the Battledome
So, in a nutshell, there isn't too much the freebies CAN'T do for your NeoPets.
Visiting all these locations should only take about 5 - 10 minutes a day, and
well worth your effort if you ask me! So with a little luck and the right timing,
you and your NeoPets could be millionaires (and healthy to boot) in no time!
