Advanced Haggling by bunnie118 | |
Maybe you've tried it before, but it hasn't done much for you. For example,
you might have gotten that 2000 NP Battledome item for 1987 NP, because of,
maybe you asked for it 10 NP cheaper, and then you had your discount card take
of a few extra NP.
However, just by doing that same thing, you could have gotten, let's say, a
25,000 Neopoint Red Grarrl Morphing potion for 12,000, minus the two percent
from your discount card, would make it about 11,980 NP. This is what I like
to call "Advanced Haggling".
"Oh, super"You might say, sarcastically. With patience and practise, you can
make Haggling *ahem*, ADVANCED Haggling work for you. Easy. You do it everyday,
I bet. You just don't realise the art of it. Haggling is a great, super-fast,
super-easy money maker. Follow these tips, and you'll be making at least 10,000
NP a day.
First of all, you must remember the four fundamentals of AH (Advanced Haggling).
1) enough money (usually 100,000 or over)
2) a goal to work at (maybe that Hidden Tower item you've been lusting after?)
3) practise
4) patience
1) DECIDE WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO SELL
I usually check out Kauvara's magic shop, because the stuff their sells good.
Your going to want at least 100,000 NP in the bank for this to work for you.
Take out 15,000 (at the most) if you want to try for two potions, take out 20,000.
Now, head over to the magic store, and get your mouse ready!
2) READY... SET... HAGGLE!
Quickly head into the shop and click on the item of your choice. Make sure it
is no more than 11,000 NP more than how much you have out, unless your willing
to get out more. Start by offering 1000 NP for the item, and then gradually
climb up. Let's use the same example we used in the beginning, the Red Grarrl
Morphing Potion. If Kauvara had that priced for 21,000 NP, and you had 11,000
out, you would want your offers to go like this:
1st - 1000 NP
2nd - 4500 - 5000 NP
3rd - 8000 NP
4th - 9000 NP
5th - 10,000 NP
6th - 10,500 NP
If you find a better pattern to follow, by all means, use that one. I usually
follow this pattern, or about. If she doesn't let you go any lower than that,
you might want to burn an few extra thousand, if you have that kind of money.
Otherwise, drop it. (I'm hoping you got it, though.)
4) LEAVE IN FOR 24 HOURS
Now that you have your "Red Grarrl Morphing Potion", put it in your shop. Usually
these morphing potions sell for about 20,000 NP, but if your not sure, then
check the wizard. It might take a day or two to sell, but you can spare an extra
10,000 for another potion, because you'll have earned it back.
And there you have it! Easy money! It may take a few days... usually I keep
it to two potions a day, bringing my average amount of money made off the potions
20,000 NP. It may not seem like a lot, but if you do this once a week, in a
month you'll have made 80,000 NP, and with collecting interest and playing games,
it usually adds up to about 100,000 per week!
Wait, where are you going? You think you can just walk right out there and
take a 100,000 NP Battledome item for 10 NP? NO WAY!! Advanced Haggling takes,
of course, practise and patience. If you are really, truly saving up for that
Lost Desert paintbrush and have your mind set to it, or any goal in Neopia for
that matter, Advanced Haggling is most possibly the easiest, fastest way to
get there! (Unless, of course, you have a trophy for every game in Neopia!)
Thank you for reading this article, I hope Advanced Haggling will do
as much for you as it has for me! This is bunnie118, signing off. |
