have something, a thing like Neopedia for you especially Newbies for knowing
almost all about Skeith that you'll probably like to adopt. If you have no idea
what Skeiths are, then you'll have to go to the 'World' tab and lookout for
the popularity page and the search for that species. Click on the name.
Back to our topic, you have to think wisely before making a choice to adopt
a pet. That will avoid the pound from being full of rejected NeoPets and I've
done that mistake before... Please continue reading and know the personality
of a Skeith!
Unlike the other species of NeoPets such as Chia, Kiko, Jetsam, Cybunny and
Chomby, Skeiths could just be seen one or twice except in the National Bank
in Neopia. Skeith has just one game, The Hungry Skeith, but that just telling
you of their bad habit. Where are them in other worlds? Even the Wooden Spoon
Award winners themselves have been starring some games. Also, in the pets popularity,
I bet Skeiths will never be the top.
What's actually wrong about Skeiths? If you say they aren't pretty, then why
can the Shoyrus and Scorchios that are also kinds of dinosaurs both get the
first and third place? A big, fat and horrible baby? Well, it's up to you what's
your opinion on that creature but for me, Skeiths aren't very bad. And that
beauty doesn't matter to most Neopians. We can't judge which are pretty or handsome,
as everybody has likes and dislikes.
Anyway, I actually know the real reason for the thing that always bugs and
questions you, for I have an experience of keeping a blue Skeith named Dragonite72GS
for at least two months. And it's truly a guilt of mine that I've thrown, left
and kicked it into the pound. I have the experience of all that…
It's their bad eating habit. If you've made any pet lookup on any Skeith, you
should have found out that that beast does eat EVERYTHING and ANYTHING in the
whole Neopia even their own pet pets! How mean… That's horrid but it doesn't
sound that horrible yet. You haven't heard what had happened to me.
I had just got a Zei Codestone in a random event when I was playing Cliffhanger
and I didn't know what to do with it. I tried to find information and these
were what I got:
ISLAND TRADING POST: You can trade your unwanted items here and change it with
the items you desire. But the most important thing is you've got to have someone
who doesn't want the item you need and want your unwanted item. It goes on like
the barter system, e-barter I mean…(hehehe) My comment: Ahh… it takes much
time…
SELL IN YOUR SHOP: You can put the item in your built shop on a higher price
and wait for someone to buy it. You'll get the money including your profit in
your Shop Till. My comment: I didn't have a shop yet and I didn't have enough
money to run one…
USE ON YOUR PETS: You can use a Codestone on your pets in the Island Training
School. With doing that, you can increase your pet's defence, strength, agility
and many more. My comment: My pets were just on level one and couldn't be
training in the school. I didn't know how to gain that… Besides, I wasn't ready
for Battledome yet. Ahh, that's wasting Neopoints.
PUT INTO SAFETY DEPOSIT BOX: You can put your stuffs into your safety deposit
box. My comment: Ahh, what are the good putting items into that box?!!
DONATE ITEMS TO THE MONEY TREE OR YOUR NEOFRIENDS: When you're too rich you
can even give the items to the Money
Tree. It will keep the Soup Kitchen free for all poor NeoPets and Neopians.
Also, be friendly with your Neofriends. Give some for them. My comment: Ha?
I was not that generous! I wasn't that rich!
PUT UP FOR AUCTION: You can put your unwanted items into the auction. Better
if you put a lower price. When people get there and find your auctioned items,
they'll bid and bid and bid till someone put the highest price and no one dare
to put any higher amount of Neopoints. My comment: Ahaaa! This was the right
choice. I'd do this! Of course!
And, so, I put it into auction and the first bid I got was 1000 NP. I checked
my items and the Codestone as marked 'Auctioned'. I couldn't do anything with
it even to put it into the deposit box. Till almost three days, the highest
bid was 6509 NP. That was a lot for me though it may sound like a little small
amount that could be earned just within a few minutes for the Ultimate Riches
Neopians.
Just 17 hours and 12 minutes and I'd get the richness I'd been waiting for
so long. After feeding my pets, I was just went to check them if they're still
hungry or thirsty when I suddenly noticed under my Skeith's stats, there was
something different. Oh my… He had eaten my auctioned Codestone!!! Oh!!! And
he was very bloated! Oh, blasted useless thing!! I quickly went to my auctioned
item and the Codestone... they did not exist in Neopia anymore…
I suddenly got too angry and hurried to the pound without any careful thinking
and with a cross heart I just dump him there… Only after moments I started to
regret but however never will I get any Skeith anymore. At the end, I was happy
that Dragonite72GS has got a new better owner to take care of him and I had
left him with a Gulper that should be the remembrance of me.
That was what I've passed onto you and whether you want a Skeith or not, it's
up to you. As long as you like it, then I can't bother you any different. It's
important for you to make your own decision as every pet is unique and special
for each owner. And each of you should have had your own likes and dislikes
as what I said before. With that I end my article and the thing you should remember
is, be wise as a pet isn't just for Christmas or any other special period of
times in a year…a pet is for life! And keep it that way! |
