"Fuzzy! Fuzzy!" cried Polydood, "can I pleeeaaassseee have this grand lightning beam?!" Thefuzzman peered into the shop window that Polydood had his nose pressed to and saw the item... and the price tag. "10,000 NP.. Humm that's an awful lot Polydood." "I know fuzzy, but can I pleeeeassse have it?" begged Polydood. thefuzzman sighed. "Well ok, but only if you can get enough money to cover half of it by winning at the wheel of excitement or the scratch card game." Thefuzzman handed polydood three 100 NP bills and sent him on his way.

Two hours later an excited Polydood bounds down the street and right onto thefuzzman who was enjoying a bit of shoybucks coffee. "I won 19,500 NP! I won I won!" shouted polydood. Thefuzzman looked over the bills and said "This is great Polydood! You more than paid for the grand lightning beam, go and get it." "Wow! thanks fuzzy!" cried Polydood as he entered the store at the marketplace.

"How may I help you?" asked a rather tired looking shop keeper. "I'll take that grand lightning beam over there" said Polydood, pointed at the dusty old item.
"This one?" asked the shop keeper suddenly awake and attentive. "Yeah, that one, the one that cost 10,000 NP." replied Polydood. "Here you go, sir." said the storekeeper excitedly. Polydood paid him and walked off to show his owner his new toy.

"Isn't it just great?" asked Polydood. "It sure is something." said thefuzzman. "Come on, lets go home. It's been a long day and I could really use a nice rest in our neohome." "I bet all the other pets will be sooo jealous Polydood, but you earned it."

6 months later...

"Fuzzy Fuzzy! can I have this?!" Wailed Polydood. Thefuzzman walked over to the window and looked at what Polydood was pointing at. "An attack fork? I don't know Polydood, I don't think we can afford one." Then he saw the price tag. "40,000 NP?! I'm sorry Polydood, but I just finished training you, I really don't think..."

Before thefuzzman could stop him Polydood rushed into the store and asked for the attack fork.

"POLYDOOD! We can't afford that, put it back." Said thefuzzman exhausted after chasing polydood. Polydood ignored him, pulled out a wallet and carefully pulled 40,000 NP from it then replaced the wallet. "Polydood, where did you get that wallet from?" wondered thefuzzman. "Well you know that 9,500 NP I had left after the lightning beam 6 months ago? I used some to buy a shop and stock it, some on the wheel of excitement, and the rest in the stock market. This is what I made." He handed thefuzzman a shop till printout, winnings receipt, and stock papers. Thefuzzman looked them over for a bit. "95,000 NP.. if only my other pets would get off their lazy butts and bring in some cash like that!" said thefuzzman laughing. "lets go home polydood. I bet all the other pets will be really jealous, cause I sure am!"
