KRAWK ISLAND - "At the bottom of a cliff in Krawk Island lies a cave, a place
where smugglers can sell their ill-gotten gains. Rare items from all over Neopia
can be found here, at a price." In the mists of the world of Krawk Island, many
Neopians take their dubloons each day, to try their luck in Smugglers
Cove. Today, in this article of The Neopian Times, I shall be discussing
about Smugglers Cove, their items, how it restocks, and much more!
First of all, what is Smugglers Cove? Smugglers Cove is a special hideout
where smugglers gather to sell rare and expensive goods. These goods range from
powerful Battledome items to magic potions. Smugglers Cove is known to stock
many powerful and destructive battledore items especially, which are very highly-demanded
amongst great battlers.
But, what makes restocking at Smugglers Cove so difficult is that these rare
items are hardly restocked, and that only one hundred (at the maximum) of each
item are restocked in Neopia! After restocking one hundred items of a certain
Cove item, the Cove shall no longer restock that item! Aside from the whole
fact that these Cove items are so rare, Neopians can only go in Smugglers Cove
about one to five times, before being banned for sixty minutes! And each restock
of Cove items consist of a stock of a few of that item, usually one item per
stock.
In order to prepare a Neopian to try to restock in the Cove, it is required
that you must have Dubloons. The smugglers only accept dubloons for their goods.
The minimum amount of Dubloons you must carry is three, since the cheapest item
you will ever find there is three Dubloons, which is the Umbrella Shield. Advice
to new Cove restockers, I suggest that you carry around two hundred Dubloons,
since most of the Cove items can be bought with these many Dubloons!
Unfortunately, because the Cove restocks randomly and rarely, I suggest that
you go to the Cove every five or so minutes. Do not attempt to refresh twice
in the Cove, or else chances are, you will be banned from the Cove a lot quicker.
By going to the Cove at reasonable intervals, you have more chances of entering
the Cove in an hour. Just getting one item from the Cove is lucky enough already.
ANY item you purchase from the Cove is a profit, since the items are so rare,
prices of Cove items range from 600,000-35,000,000 NP! (So if you see any item
in the Cove that you can afford with the Dubloons you have, don't hesitate to
purchase it! Any of the Cove items go out quickly, so try to purchase an item
as fast as possible!)
On December
27, 2002, Neopets had broken the rule of the limited stock of one hundred
per item, and released twenty more of each Cove item! Since then, Dubloon prices
have greatly increased, and the amount of Cove items as well. But, because twenty
of each item had been released, chances of getting Cove items are a little higher.
I suggest to anyone that wants to take a chance at Cove restocking, to do it
right now, while there is an assurance that Cove items are still being released.
For some that may be wondering, which are the most highly-demanded and profitable
Cove items? Well, out of the twenty three Cove items so far, the two most profitable
Cove items are the Attack Pea and the Seasonal Attack Pea, which are also highly-demanded
by serious battlers, who are willing to spend millions on formidable BD weapons.
But out of all of the Cove items, the Seasonal Attack Pea is the most highly-demanded
and profitable item found in Smugglers Cove, and only costs one hundred Dubloons
in the Cove! Both types of Attack Peas are profitable, but the Seasonal Attack
Pea higher in worth and cheaper to purchase at the Cove.
Info on the Attack Pea:
Description: As dissimilar to other Battledome weapons as two extremely
dissimilar things in a pod.
Cost in Dubloons at the Cove: 160 Dubloons
Cost/Worth in NP: An estimated 25-30 million NP
Purpose: The Attack Pea's purpose it to be used as a destructive BD weapon,
which is a multiple-use BD weapon. The Attack Pea can deal 24 constant Earth
icons.
Info on the Seasonal Attack Pea:
Description: Give your opponent a little seasonal cheer as you pound
them into oblivion!
Cost in Dubloons at the Cove: 100 Dubloons
Cost/Worth in NP: At estimated 30-35 million NP
Purpose: The Seasonal Attack Pea's purpose it to be used as a destructive
BD weapon, which is a multiple-use BD weapon. The Attack Pea can deal 28 constant
icons, which can deal 20 Earth icons and 8 Light icons. A mix of two different
icons, unlike the regular Attack Pea.
