"Can we move back to Terror Mountain?" cried Rain the white
Mynci.
As usual Rain was complaining to her owner Anna. Recently Anna
took part of a research, she bought a large furnished mansion in Tyrannia for
only 2000 NP. She and her pets were to live there a month or more if they liked
and if they loved it, NeoPets would open it to the public.
"Rain, sweetie, its not so bad here. We have a much larger
house plus we have a in ground pool. And our yard is bigger," Anna told
Rain.
"I rather be living in the ranch house than here" Rain said
and stormed off to her room.
Anna went over to her youngest pet. Sascha, a speckled Usul.
"Sascha do you like living here?" Anna asked her.
"Uh huh momma. I like our pool and I love our yard with the
wildflowers," Sascha replied.
Anna then went to her oldest, Brian a spotted Blumaroo.
"Hey Brian, how do you like living here?" Anna asked.
"Of course, now I got room to roller skate, use my scooter
and bikes and skateboards. Plus I can use my balls and stuff," Brian replied.
"Brian, why doesn't Rain like living here?" Anna asked curiously.
"I don't know, I don't pay attention to her anymore. She is
no fun. She only complains," Brian complied then left for the kitchen.
Anna followed him into the kitchen and got a snack to bring
to Rain. Her favourite, banana rolls and a banana milkshake. She went to Rain's
room.
Knock. Knock.
"Who is it?" question Rain.
"It's mom, open up," Anna replied.
Rain opened the door. Anna walked in and set the snack in front
of Rain.
"Have a snack," Anna told Rain.
Rain couldn't resist, she began eating her snack.
"You always say that you don't want to live here. May I ask
why?" Anna asked.
"There aren't any pets my age, normal ones I mean," Rain
answered. "I mean, in school I am the only one in my age that can speak English,
plus I'm the only one who is civilised."
"Can't you make friends with them?" Anna asked.
"No. They only speak like this "Ugga Boo". I can't make out
what they are saying. Its horrible," Rain cried.
"In Sascha's kindergarten there are at least ten other civilized
pets," Anna said. "I can't believe they're aren't any in yours."
"Miss Maloney the teacher said since its the first year Tyrannia
opened up there aren't that much NeoPets that are civilised in the school" Rain
told her.
"Maybe I can home school you or maybe just for a month or so
you can stay with Aunt Catie and her pets," Anna said.
"I don't wanna leave you mommy. Just home school me please,"
begged Rain.
"I'll inform the school in two weeks. I want you to just try...okay?"
Anna said.
"Deal," Rain said.
Soon Rain became her happy energetic self. She even taught
Sascha how to swim with out Neoswimmies. She also had basketball tournaments
with Brian. Anna feeling proud of her pets bought each a PetPet.
"Surprise for all of yous," yelled Anna.
Coming from all around the house ran Sascha, Rain, and Brian.
Since Brian was the oldest Anna handed him his PetPet first.
"Here you go Brian."
It was a male Puppyblew, a cute one indeed.
"I'm going to call you Chomper" Brian said as he raced outside
with Chomper.
Then Anna handed Sascha a male Noil.
"Oh, pretty. I'm gonna call you Jimmy," Sascha said bouncing
happily.
"I'm very proud of you darling," Anna said as she handed Rain
a female Kadoatie.
Rain's eyes lit up. "This is the prettiest and cutest pet ever,
your name is Midnite," she told Midnite.
Eventually Rain home schooled with Anna. But Rain was never
never lonely again. She had Midnite and Midnite had Rain!
