Neolodge Reviewed: Part Three - I Like it Here, Can I Stay?

by babyxangel247

Neolodge: Presidential Palace
Cost: 200 NP per night
NeoPet's Rating: 5 stars

200 NP a night was a steep price, but I was more than willing to pay if this was anything like the Faerie Castle hotel I stayed at the week before! As I stepped onto the entranceway to the Presidential Palace, I was impressed. There was a long gold carpet leading inside the hotel. The hotel had double doors, which was engraved with the hotel seal.

Inside, the elevators took me to my floor. Everything in the hotel had a very grand feeling. Could there be anything more perfect that coordinated carpets, wallpaper and decorations. Even the door to my room was gold and opened to reveal the largest hotel room I had ever seen. There was a kitchen, entertainment centre, giant windows, enormous bed and a table in the centre with the finest fruits. After unpacking, I looked around my room to see what else I could find.

Behind some long velvet curtains was a walk in closet. The TV got every channel Neopia had to offer and, as I pulled back the curtains on the window, I was in awe. You could see almost all of Neopia's Neopian Central from there. It was in the middle of everything so there was always something to do. I changed and ran downstairs to check out the shops.

The marketplace was within walking distance from the hotel and it was filled with other NeoPets looking for bargains. On the other side of the hotel, there was a pool, hot tub, Battledome training centre, games and tour busses that took you anywhere you wanted to go. There were actually four pools connected to each other by walkways, allowing each NeoPet to have more swimming space. The hot tubs were soothing and the games the hotel had were very fun and tiring.

The next day I checked out the Battledome training centre They had state of the art centres for working out and improving your stats. The tour busses took me to all my favourite shops everyday and I came back with tons of great gifts. It was more than I could have imagined. Everything in the hotel had a very grand feeling and I couldn't wait to come back with some friends.

The rooms were so large, they could easily hold four NeoPets with room to spare. There never seemed to be a trace of dust anywhere in the hotel because the cleaning crew came by each room every time you left to make sure everything was spotless. The service was great and food was a very nice quality. They had all the accommodations I could have wanted and the staff was very welcoming.

Final Rating: 4.5 (near perfect - more accommodations, more colour)

Neolodge: Astro-Villa
Cost: 500 NP per night
NeoPet's Rating: 5 stars

Well, here I was. The last hotel. My final review. With everything I have seen, it was going to be hard to top, but I was a hard to please NeoPet. I have not given out the full 5 stars yet because a 5 star hotel should be one that exceeds your expectations, has all the possible accommodations and (perhaps most importantly) is worth your hard earned Neopoints. And for 500 Neopoints a night, I expected a lot.

Making my "grand entrance" up to the hotel, I stepped onto the plush red carpet that flowed into the hotel. Walking down the carpet, I felt like a movie star at a big movie premier. I felt instantly important. When I reached the double doors of the hotel, two Poogles pulled them open for me instantly and I headed in. I stood in the lobby, looking around. There were some NeoPets sitting and chatting, others at the hotel's Coffee House and some getting ready to make their way to their rooms as well.

But, with no bellhops in sight, I went to the front desk to find the room myself. "Excuse me Sir, can you direct me to my room. I'm BaByxAnGeL247 and I have reservations here for this week," I said very confidently.

"A guest? Well then you're in the wrong building," said the Chia

"You mean, this isn't the Astro-Villa?" I asked confused.

"Oh, yes it is ma'am. But this is the events centre of the Astro-Villa This is where we have dinners, entertainment, games... that sort of thing. You're looking for your villa, correct?" the Chia asked

"Villa? Um, I suppose. Yes I am. Where can I find it?" I said, still a little confused.

"Well, right this way. I'll show you to your room," said the Chia as he escorted me down a hall.

We walked outside of the building where there was some smaller building, which looked like homes. Each was connected with a path lined with glass roses. Following behind the Chia, we made our way to one of the homes. "This" said the Chia "is your Villa". He opened the doors and I was astonished. Each home was a private villa, equipped with more than a NeoHome could offer. It was fully furnished with a monstrous bed, complete entertainment system, windows, fish tank, private pool and hot tub and a digital menu of option from the hotel.

After the Chia left, I walked around the villa in awe. There was a loft above as well. A staircase lead up to the loft where there was a small resting area and had a glass ceiling where the sun was shinning through. My bed was neatly made and very soft. It had a glass rose on the pillow with a note underneath. The note said . . .

Dear BaByxAnGeL247,

We are delighted to have you at the Astro-Villa If there is anything you need, please enter it in your digital menu and your request will be fulfilled within 60 seconds. Here at the Astro-Villa we have . . .

- private pools - Battledome training centre - private & social Dinners - private hot tubs - Spa service - unlimited entertainment - shopping centre - personal tours - personal limo, etc...

Please let us know if there is anything more you need. This complimentary glass rose is our way of saying "Thank You" for choosing Astro-Villa

Sincerely, The Astro-Villa Hotel

Unable to believe what I had read, I went to my digital menu. How could they get me whatever I want in 60 seconds or less? It seemed impossible. The Astro-Villa was so huge! But I was going to test it out. I turned it on and there were different categories: Food, Drinks and Services. I chose Food. It then shows me all the different meals they could serve. I selected a Faerie Dreamwhich. Not 30 seconds after I hit "Enter" a small Wheelie was at my door with my order. "How did you manage to get here so fast?" I asked in disbelief.

"Easy," said the Wheelie, "these wheels take me anywhere I want to go, and I can get there in no time. There is one assigned to every room so whatever you need, I can be here in just a few seconds!"

As unbelievable as it was, I knew I couldn't waste time. I had to see everything. I changed and hopped into my personal pool and hot tub. Being alone in the pool gave me time to think about all the other hotels and how wonderful they were, but the Astro-Villa's services were far surpassing the rest. It was nice to have time alone, and if you got lonely, there was a variety of activities you could participate in. That's when I decided I would eat at the Dinning Hall instead of eating alone. I reserved a spot for the daily "Social Dinner".

The Social Dinner was elegant. Everyone was dressed up and the food was made from the rarest of items. Some I had never heard of before. They were all so delicious and I got a chance to talk to some other guests. After chatting and eating, I was full and sleepy and headed back to my villa to rest. Everything was so close to the main Events Building I was back in no time.

The next day I flipped on the digital menu and this time looked at their Services. Makeover, Shopping, or Spa. Well, why not try them all? First I got a make over. In less than a minute, a team of professional NeoPets makes up artist showed up at my villa with make-up and clothes in hand. In under an hour I felt beautiful and years younger. Then I went out for some shopping. I had a personal assistant and my personal limo picked us up from the Villa and whisked us away to some of Neopia's finest clothing shops. I bought some new clothes, then some souvenirs and other items to remind of my trip.

Finally, I was exhausted. I got back to my villa and the hotel's spa team arrived just in time. They gave me a full massage and facial treatment. Just want I needed after a hard day's shopping. When it was over, I went to hop into bed when I noticed the bedding was a different colour than when I arrived. "What's going on?" I wondered. I called for room service to ask the Wheelie.

"The bed can change shape, colour and softness according to your mood. The bed was pink when you arrived because you were in an energetic mood, and not it's blue because your calm and relaxed. You can also adjust the softness of your carpet and the print of your wall paper through the digital menu," the Wheelie explained.

I was marveling at the technology that the Astro-Villa had to offer, but to warn out to continue exploring. So I climbed into my blue and soft bed and went to sleep. The next day I took a personal tour of the hotel. A tour guild took me in a carriage to all the events, and features the hotel had to offer. He informed me that through my limo service, it could take me anywhere. To any World and any shop when I was staying at the Astro-Villa

On my last day, I was sad to have to leave such a wonderful place. It was perfect and there was nothing more it needed. Sure, it set me back 500 Neopoints, but it was well worth it. I would have paid twice that amount to stay in such an accommodating hotel. I was sure to come back and bring some of the NeoFriends with me.

Final Rating: 5 (perfect)
