The Party, the Aftermath, the Clean-up

MYSTERY ISLAND- Well I bet a lot of people are shouting "It's over, free at last!" That Gadgadsbogen Puzzle sure did stump a lot of people, including myself, for a little while at least. So I thought that maybe some would be interested in how to solve this Logic Puzzle. This is really very easy, if you know what to do.

First thing I did was make a chart. Logic Puzzle chart, it is fairly simple, you just need a ruler and a pencil, simple huh? It basically looks like this:

Or you can make one that looks like a grid, but it's too big to fit here, so we will work with what we got. Okay let's solve this thing shall we.

Clue#1- Tiki Tack man made sure that he wore a red grass skirt (to match his shirt of course!)

Okay so we know the Tiki Tack Man wore Red so that's easy.

Clue#2- The party guest that won the limbo competition was so excited she accidentally spilled her Myncibean Punch all over the floor afterwards.

There are 3 clues here, the winner was a Female, and the winner had the Myncibean Punch, and of course was the winner with 50 cm.

Okay so we know that The Tiki Tack Man was not the winner, and did not have the MBP, or get 50 cm in the limbo. We also know the winner did not wear the red skirt.

Clue#3-At the limbo competition, the competitor who ate the Froozle beat the person who came in a place behind them by a whopping 8cm!

Here are a few more answers, the winner did not eat the froozle because the Froozle eater came in a place behind someone, and we also know the froozle was not eaten by the loser, or the person who came in second last place. Because last is 96cm, and second last is 89cm and plus or minus 8 equals a number we do not have. And we also know that the Froozle eater did not get 50cm.

Clue#4-The Blobbule eater found the taste of their Bubbling Kraku Thickshake subtly enhanced the flavor of their fruit.

Okay here are a couple of answers. The Blobbule eater had the BKT, simple right? And the Froozle eater did not have the BKT.

Clue#5- Kyishi refused to eat the Ellecha or Twirly fruit. "They're too fattening," she said. "And that's the last thing I need when limbo dancing!"

Easy answers, she did not eat either one. Simple as that!

Clue#6- There was no way Vik was going to win the limbo. His belly alone was 70 cm high!

Okay so Vik must have received a score of 89cm, or 98 cm, otherwise his belly would not fit. This in turn means that he did not eat the Froozle.

Clue#7-The party guest who ate the Lemwart had a matching yellow skirt.

So this party guest did not have the MBP, or the BKT. Doesn't help much… yet.

HIDDEN CLUE- Skirts and Drinks cannot match, as read in the Rufus Article.

Okay here are lots of answers, so far we have:

Kyishi did not have the Ellecha or Twirly fruit, did not wear the Red Skirt

Tiki Tack Man wore the Red Skirt, but did not have the BKT (its red), or the MBP, and he did not eat the Bobbule, or the Lemwart.

Vik limboed either 89cm, or 98 cm, and did not eat the Froozle.

Clue#8- When the winner of the limbo danced at the party afterwards, she almost lost her pink skirt.

Okay the winner wore the Pink Skirt, and had the MBP.

Clue#9- The party guest with the blue skirt was seen making a sour face when they bit into their carnapepper. I guess it didn't go down well!

So the guest with the Blue Skirt ate the Carnapepper, did not have the MBP, or the BKT, and we now know Drinks and Skirts cannot match so they did not have the Blue CocoFizz. They did not eat the Lemwart.

Clue#10- The winner of the limbo contest did not eat an Ellecha.

Easy answer the winner did not eat the Ellecha.

Clue#11- Harry ate the Froozle, but did not wear the blue skirt.

Okay now we are getting somewhere, you with me so far? Okay, so let's decipher this a little shall we?

? The winner (who was a woman) wore the Pink Skirt, and drank the MBP, she did not eat the Lemwart, Froozle, Carnapepper, the Bobbule, or the Ellecha. This means she did eat the Twirly Fruit. We know Kyishi did not eat the Twirly Fruit, so this means that Jhuidah won the comp, with a terrific score of 50 cm.

? Tiki Tack Man wore the Red Skirt.

? Harry ate the Froozle.

Clue#11- The person who wore the Green skirt came in last place in the limbo contest, one position behind the Greengage Breeze drinker.

Okay, the guest with the Green skirt did not have the Greengage Breeze, came in last place with 96cm, did not have the Lemwart, Bobbule, Twirly Fruit, or the Froozle, because Harry ate the Froozle, and did not come in last, therefore Harry did not have the Green, Pink, Red, or Yellow, or Blue Skirt. So he had the Purple Skirt. He did not drink the BKT, MBP, Greengage Breeze, or the PJSB (because drinks and skirts cannot match)

Clue#12- The wearer of the red skirt drank the Pink Peachpa Cooler!

So Tiki Tack Man drank the PPC, and wore the Red skirt. He did not eat the Froozle, Carnapepper, Lemwart, Bobbule, or the Twirly Fruit. He did eat the Ellecha.

Clue#13- The Grand Bogen wore a Green skirt.

So if we all read the Article on Rufus we know he was the Grand Bogen, so Rufus wore the Green Skirt.

Clue#14- The Ellecha eater limboed 60cm.

Now we know Tiki Tack Man ate the Ellecha so he Limboed 60cm.

Okay let's go over all of this. It's as easy as pie! Trust me!

What we know so far is:

Tiki Tack Man, Ellecha, Red Skirt, PPC, and 60cm

Rufus wore the Green Skirt, and he came in last with 96cm. So he did not eat the Froozle, Lemwart, Carnapepper, Ellecha or the T. Fruit. SO he ate the Bobbule, and drank the BKT.

Vik got a limbo of 89cm, because his belly was 70 cm alone. So he came in second to last with 89cm, and drank the Greengage Breeze. He did not wear the Pink, Red, Green, Yellow or Purple Skirt. So this means he wore the Blue Skirt, and ate the Carnapepper.

Harry ate the Froozle, and did not wear the Red, Pink, Blue, Green, or Yellow Skirt, and wore the Purple Skirt, he did not drink, the MBP, BKT, Greengage Breeze, PPC, or the PJSB, so he drank the Blue CocoFizz. And because Tiki limboed 60cm, and the Froozle eater beat the person who came in a place behind them by 8cm, he limboed 52cm.

So Kyishi now she was the hardest to figure out. Let's go over it:

She did not eat the Froozle, Blobblue, Ellecha, T. Fruit, or the Carnapepper, so this means that she had the Lemwart, which also means she wore the yellow Skirt, and Drank the PJSB, because Vik had the Greengage Breeze. And because Vik came in second to last, Kyishi got a score or 68cm.

And Last but not least the Winner...

Jhuidah ate the T. Fruit, wore the Pink Skirt, drank the MBP, and limboed 50cm.

There you have it, Logic solved. Simple as Pie! And I for one (of many I'm sure) am glad it's over! Hopefully I got my answer in, in time of course. And of course let's hope I am right
