The Gelert - friendly, loyal, and caring to everyone. An Angelpuss is sweet and adorable. Not this time. This is the oddest pair in all of Neopia. Both are symbols of the faeries yet both are crazy and have been called evil. This is their story.

Madiek was born different. She had a unique coat pattern. Instead of a solid color, like her litter mates, Madiek had pale gold markings on her face, chest, and left leg. being different made it so not many people wanted to adopt her. But when I saw those eyes peering up at me I couldn't help but want her. I think that her unique markings make her more beautiful. Shortly after I got this little puppy I began thinking about what to name her. Kedocko said that she was mad because she'd run around bumping into things and would always chomp on his tail. I was telling him that she isn't mad, she's just a little pup when she said. "Iiiek," which soon became her favorite noise. GoldenFriend combined the two and came up with the name Madiek (Mad-eek) and I loved it. Madiek grew quickly and as she did her little bad habits grew too. I painted her Faerie in hopes of calming her down- it didn't work. Madiek bond with her brother, sisters, and me strengthened to the point she no longer terrorized any of us. She even acts like a stereotype Gelert when she's with me, just not around other people nor pets.

One day Madiek came home with a pet. An Angelpuss. I was so excited that maybe her little friend would teach her to be good to everyone, but it turned out that the Angelpuss was worse than she was! But somehow between the pleads and those adorable puppy eyes I let her keep it. Mensonge became the little fella's name. He was named that because it means lie and he is a lie to the way Angelpusses are supposed to be. Also he lies a lot. Madiek and Mensonge are inseparable. They love terrorizing other pets and people together.

You're probably wondering about the poor Blue Fuzzle in the picture. Madiek ever since I brought her home has hated Fuzzles. She always tears them to shreds. I have no clue why, just a petpeeve of hers I guess.

Madiek was once a misfit that no one wanted and now she is a best friend to a little Angelpuss, a sister to three pets, a wonderful pet to me, a Gelert that goes against was most Gelerts stand for, and an enemy of Fuzzles everywhere.
